Christine Rihn, DPM

Dr. Christine W. Rihn is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AACFAS) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of various foot and ankle conditions, with special interests in arthritic conditions, fractures and sports injuries, bunion and hammertoe treatment, and diabetic care/limb salvage.
Dr. Rihn completed a four-year residency at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving extensive training in reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, and limb salvage. She also trained in the areas of vascular, general, and outpatient plastic surgery and served as chief resident during her final year.
Dr. Rihn earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated in the top ten of her class, earning honors in the Stirling-Harford-DiPrimio Honorary Anatomical Society. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston majoring in Biology with a minor in Business. While attending the College, she volunteered in the Cardiovascular wing at MUSC where she developed an interest in the medical field and passion for patient care.
Dr. Rihn is excited to move back to South Carolina to be closer to family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and two Yorkshire terriers.
