Arthur E. McCall and Henry C. Thomas established McCall-Thomas Engineering in 1945. It has two main operating divisions, including electrical engineering and communication engineering. The engineering department provides system planning, distribution line design, testing and measurement, forensic engineering, rate studies, substance design and mapping, and field inventory. Established in 1952, the communications engineering division offers frame relay, wide area network and local area network installations, servers, routers and switching equipment. Industrial and commercial services offered by the company include standby generator specifications, power quality testing, power distribution system design, drafting services, lightning and surge protection system design. It also provides print services that include copying, plotting and scanning services. McCall-Thomas Engineering is an employee-owned corporation and is based in Fayetteville, N.C.
