Sat at a booth and Ordered open faced turkey ( hold the bread) with mash and green beans, gravy and turkey were extremely salty, and the worst part was the cook put it in to a to-go box, waitress say I was at booth, so he scraped it all onto a plate , upon Eating the mash I discovered a Hugh amount of green beans with fatty ??? bacon?? and I think pearl onions, under the mash and gravy. NOT a good taste..... it was my first , and LAST time I will ever eat there again. She took $1.00 off my bill for the TURKEY, WOW 8.99 dinner still cost me 8. ?? change, didn't even get a receipt either. she may not have been the cook but she certainly made a decision to serve it to me anyways. Would love to hear from owner on this one. even hours are not correct on yellow pages, I will call in a few days to see if they really bother to read these and do something about it.

Once we found this place we eat there 4- 5 times a week. Had the ham and cheese 3 egg omelet, loaded with ham, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Took half of it home its so big and soooooo delicious. Then another time I had the large porterhouse steak and eggs with all of the above. The steak was so tender and flavorfull. The country fried steak yummmy Everything we've had there with the exceptions of the mike shakes are so delicious! The Milk shakes are foamy and need work The waitress's and waiters are so friendly and we just love it there.

Best biscuits and gravy! Super clean, love all their food!

Pretty disappointing. My boyfriend and I tried this place yesterday morning. The service was acceptable and thats the only reason Im giving it 2 stars. I ordered the south of the border breakfast burrito. The chile verde was not too great, but ok. The hashbrowns were tiny in portion, and there was a bug crawling on the plate that I think came off of the garnish. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was so overcooked that it was more like carne asada than a porterhouse. His eggs that were ordered over easy were all burnt around the edges and his home fry potatoes were burnt and mostly enedible. The whole experience was pretty sad.

Had dinner at Ashleys Country Kithen the other night. Decided to put the country cookin' to the test so I ordered the Country fried steak. A large helping of fresh homemade mashed potatoes a genuine country fried steak covered in a thick creamy country gravy. It was delicious and plentiful. The theme is a horse stable perfect for Orangevale. My only negatives would be the steak was a bit over salty for my taste and the green beans seemed canned. All in all I think Ashleys Country Kitchen has a bright future in Orangevale.

This was a great place for breakfast. I am a simple gal and so the country potatoes with seasoned salt and the eggs were great. Bacon was meaty and good. The place was clean and we were greeted with a smile. Our waitress may have been having a rough morning, but the other two working were friendly and answered our questions. I am looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner to try something else.

Nice new business. They did a fine job of renovating the old Aldaberto's. The food was wonderful but don't get the coffee. We ordered the S.O.S. which was plentiful and delicious, and also the Senior Silver breakfast. They brought the regular instead of the senior version and charged us the higher price. They did fix the bill on that. But the coffee was horrible and we didn't drink it, asking for water instead. They did charge us for the coffee. I hope they succeed as it is a nice addition to the corner. I would definitely return.
