I've always been the poster-child for salon jumping. I would try any salon that caught my eye (particiularly if they offered a great groupon deal). But not anymore! I can't remember how I found Salon Orchard, but I'm so happy that I did. The quality of their work is exceptional and their prices are great, but the thing that truly makes Salon Orchard stand out is the actual feel of the salon. The staff are mostly family, and are so genuinely warm and friendly. Everyone working engages you in such easy conversation, as though they've known you forever.



Take it from someone who's seen them all, from the fanciest salons to the basements of stylists-turned-stay-at-home-moms. My goal each time has always been to get done and get out. There's always that awkwardness with the small talk between you and the stylist who isn't listening anyway, and that one person talking really loud in the background about something they want everyone to hear, and the stylist who leaves a half-styled woman in her chair to wander over to your stylist just to say something mean about her client and then both laugh at her right in front of you, etc.



At Salon Orchard, that's not the case. It's just... genuinely comfortable. I'm not saying I'll never visit another salon, because I am still a sucker for a great deal or for the promise of a unique experience, but I''ll be right back in Amy's chair a few weeks later. Believe me, this is a place worth trying.

DO NOT go there. They are rude and don't know anything about hair. Amy, Amanda, and Zena all three fools burned my hair. they could not do a simple highlight, they were not apologetic, they were rude, they know nothing about customer service, and they are cheap. After chemically burning my hair they wanted to charge me for shampoo and conditioner too. I give them 1 star just because I cannot give them 0 or negative which is what they actually deserve. Ladies, if you care about your hair and looks, do not go to this place. they would make better butchers than hair stylists.
