Every year a group of about 20 in my family attend the Scrooge Play that Hale Center Theater does. Last year, we tried to return two tickets we weren't going to use the day of the performance and were told it was too late, but HCT had no problem selling those seats to other atendees once they new we weren't using the seats. We eventually got a refund after a struggle but it seemed finding the right person to talk to was not an easy thing. This year, we all had gift cards to use to pay for our tickets and when we called to reserve the seats they told us to hold the spot with a credit card and we could use our gift cards when we arrived at the play. Come to find out the GC's were purchased at the SLC Hale Theater and could not be used at the Orem Hale Theater. Aren't they the same owners??? We are all out about $50 each and after at least 10 years of this tradition running, we are done and will not be back next year. It's not worth the hassle of dealing with all their "policies".

We've had season tickets for several years. The shows are always excellent--good acting, scenery, direction, and music. Family appropriate. We are always thoroughly entertained.

I rented a couple costumes for a Halloween party and I was very well taken care of. There was a little complication with some minor details, but overall I would recommend going there for any costume needs. The only things I would recommend would for them to be more organized and have a wider selection of quirky costumes. Other than that, great job! Rent there soon!! :-)
