In 1963 they discovered what caused death from shock. The research and discoveries associated with that discovery lead the government and the Army to travel world wide in order to gather together all of the top doctors and scientists who had studied the lymphatic system. They founded the International Society of Lymphology in order to share their findings every two years in their scientific journals.

Our founder, Dr. C. Samuel West was encouraged to start the International Academy of Lymphology in order to bring that research to the general public. Dr. West started the original Academy of Lymphology in 1982 here in Orem, Utah. In 2003 Dr. West refounded the IAL as a religious entity, due to the spiritual principles that governed the way he treated everyone that came to him for help.

Today we continue operating and maintaining his school as a religious, charitable, educational, Corporation Sole registered with the Utah Department of Commerce.

We teach natural healing through obedience to "Health Laws of God" that are necessary to help people conquer the major degenerative diseases and how to live in peace.
