I don't usually write reviews, but I had a truly amazing experience at this store. The new store manager, Marc, and his staff were truly exceptional in helping me find the perfect ring. I am very particular regarding what I like and dislike, and usually have a very difficult time finding something I truly love. However, the staff here did everything they could to help me find the perfect ring. I never felt pressured, and even though I came back several times during the course of a few weeks, they always made me feel welcomed and did everything they could to help me find what I had in mind. Ring shopping can be quite an overwhelming and daunting task, but if you decide to give this place a chance, the staff will do everything they can to make it an enjoyable and smooth process. I had the opportunity to work with the store manager and most of the staff here, and I can truly say that every single one of them is very pleasant to work with and will ensure you feel valued. I definitely will be recommending this place to my friends and family, and will not go elsewhere in the future!

Staff was very friendly and courteous.I had my rings cleaned and was immediately offered a beverage. I didn't feel rushed or pushed. I opened a credit and felt very informed of what was happening. I'm not sure who the other reviewers spoke with but I will definitely be going back, they were respectful and kind.

NEVER I mean NEVER EVER go to this Jared's!! I'm only giving it one star because I have too, this place isn't even one star which is sad! Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a store! I don't even know how this place is still around with all the horrible reviews they have! I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will tell everybody how horrible this place is! If you want to go to Jared's go to the Murray one, they actually know how to treat customers.

he went to Jared and my Christmas was ruined!

worst experience of my life! I went into the store in Orem to order a ring I found online. The manager "Joe" couldn't wait to take my money in cash and then pressured me into buying the maintenance program for the ring. When I told him I wasn't interested in a maintenance program he sent another woman into the room to try to convince me to buy it. I had to give them a firm NO before they stopped bothering me about it. The manager Joe assured me that the ring would be sent next day air and be there in plenty of time for Christmas. When I went back to pick up the ring it hadn't arrived yet and he told me that I could track it online. I went to the online tracker and it said it hadn't even been shipped yet. When I asked him why, he told me the website hadn't been updated yet. Why would they have a tracking website and not update it? I called customer service and they said the people in the store should have known better than to tell me it could be shipped next day air. because it couldn't be. When I went in to to pick up the ring, knowing it wouldn't be there. The manager continued to lie to me. He told me it would be there Christmas Eve. So I came back knowing my ring wouldn't be there wanting my money back. He told me that I couldn't have my cash back until the ring was in the store, after Christmas!I told him I had no gift for my girlfriend and he said he could wrap up a cheap glass vase that I could give her. What a joke! He didn't want to be bothered with me because he was with other customers and had my money already. after Christmas I went in to get my cash back and he wouldn't even come out of the back room to face me. Never shop at Jared! I read these other reviews and can't believe how awful they are.

We purchase our wedding rings ...

We purchase our wedding rings there a little over a year ago. My ring is a 'LeVian'. We were told when were purchased it we would be able to exchange the ring for ANY other ring at a LeVian event held at the store a few times a year. We were told the next event would be in 3 or 4 months and this was ultimately the reason we bought my ring and then my husband's ring at this store.

My ring was very close to what I wanted, but not exact and my husband thought it would be fun to get me an early anniversary present by updating or adding to my ring. Again, we bought the ring because of the ability to exchange it for ANY other if I so desired when attending one of the LeVian events. During the months that followed EVERY employee we spoke to when making our payments or stopping by the get our rings cleaned mention the event, invited us to come, and told us about the great service allowing me to exchange my ring for ANY other LeVian ring at the event if one caught my fancy.

I went to store on the last day of the event and found my dream ring. We agreed to exchange the ring and were at the point where I was about to pay, new ring on my finger, old ring taken in the back. At this point the employee gets a strange look on his face and says he'll be right back. When he comes back he tells me I can't actually exchange the ring unless the one I get is a minimum of $500.00 more than my current ring. Needless to say it was a little frustrating. $500.00 is not an amount of money my husband and I have lying around. Speaking to the store manager and eventually calling their support line (the manager apparently had no power to change this?) we got no where. The store manager blamed 'bad training procedures', which he was responsible for. The customer service rep we spoke to, while upset it had happened, had no power to do anything and we were told a manager would call. Nothing ever happened and we haven't heard anything since.I'd also like to include that every representative we spoke to at the store said the same thing 'No one is really sure of whats going on. I would blame it on bad traing. The trainging is terrrible.'

My husband purchased a tungston ring and was told all kinds of stories about it not scratching and lasting forever. It has been around a year and the color (he purchased a black ring) is almost completely gone. If you put the ring he perchased next to a ring still in store you wouldn't be able to tell they had been the same ring.

The short and sweet of it is the store by the university mall doesn't train their employees so no one knows what is going on and tells you something different EVERY time you go in or call.The customer service line seemsd to be a complete sham and apparently is an entity of their own, having nothing to do with the store. They don't even solve your problem..they listen, 'make notes on your account' and let you know someone will get back to you about this issue. This never actually happens. You will be told the wrong minimal payment EVERY time you go in. You will be charged late fees even if you pay your bill early, let alone on time. We were even told on occasion you are 'not allowed' to make a payment early.

Bottom line: My husband and I are EXTREMELY unhappy customers and while we have plans to purchase jewelry from future stores we do not place on buying ANYTHING from Jareds. We will let people know about our as well and will encourage all of our friends, family, and coworkers to avoid purchasing anything from Jareds.
