Provided by YP.comThis place has a great selection of glasses. Unfortunately they are pretty pricey in terms of glasses and my insurance wouldn't cover any of the glasses. They are very incentive driven too, so they will press you to buy special lenses and such. That was totally fine with my wife and I, since they explained that you can walk away with your glasses on a payment plan to pay everything off. This excited my wife and I since we don't have a lot of money and we both desperately need new glasses.
They did a thorough eye exam for free because of our insurance, which was great since we really needed our eyes checked. We found out that we had both been misdiagnosed prescriptions from prior doctors and so we were pretty frustrated with past doctors, but that is irrelevant. We chose our frames, and since we were told we could do a payment plan we chose some glasses that were a little nicer just since we have a kid who loves to grab our glasses and we didn't want them to break easily.
It took two weeks for our glasses to arrive at the clinic which is pretty fast compared to other places we've been to. We arrived yesterday super excited to pick up our new glasses, got them sized, cleaned and everything. We let them know that we would be back in next week to make our payment on the glasses, when the nurse got a weird look on her face and asked us to wait. She went in the back, and came out apologized and told us we could not leave with the glasses because they have to be paid off in full before we can take them home. Of course this was very upsetting, because we both need the new glasses and we were told two different things and two different times. I would be more than happy to give them a 5 star if they let us take them with the payment plan, I just don't see the point to a payment plan if you can't have the glasses- because what if it was a safety hazard to not have them? It's besides the point of even getting the glasses in the first place, and unfortunately my insurance will only cover 1 free exam per person, as well as the frames and lenses.
So now we have to pay for these glasses until they are paid off, BEFORE we can use them, when we were told at first we could take them and pay in parts. So frustrating!
If you go here know that they are very nice, and their expertise is awesome, just make sure you have the money to pay for the glasses upfront because they won't accommodate you.
