Water quest was fantastic! First they came in and tested my water for free which normally costs. The tests were so eye opening. I had no idea what was in my water, or how the crap in there can make your whole house less efficient. Everyone that I talked to was so nice and I didn't feel pressured at all to buy a water softener (it was the results of the tests that made me want to buy). Ive always thought that water softeners were overpriced and kind of an indulgence, but after they showed me how much sediment was in my water (I live in lehi ut) I realized that is more of a necessity. Im pretty sure the name of the guys who preformed the tests was Wesley. He was so nice and informative. I also had the privilege of speaking with the owner Rob who is so down to earth. Unfortunately my wife and I were not in the position to buy a water softener at the time but man they made it tempting! Rob worked and worked to get me a GREAT deal! I told them to come by again in 6 months when we are in a better position. If you happen to need a water softener or an RO purification system then these are the guys to go with! A great company with great people!

Holy...

Got a knock in my door around 6. The man at the door knew my name , I had just recently moved in less then a month ago. He said he was with the city doing free water tests and he would send a technician over at 8. HE came back at 8 not a technician, with a little kit and told us about how hard our water was, had an hour and a half presentation for him to tell me at the end it's a 4 thousand dollar water softener. He talked me into it. 90 dollars a month. He scheduled to have an installer out at 5 the next day. After thinking about it over night and seeing other options we came to the conclusion it was extremely over priced. I called their office the next morning right as they opened and canceled they said it wasn't a big deal at all. During the day me and my wife received 9 calls EACH from the salesman. My wife was scared and came in through the backdoor so he couldn't see she was home. He sat around the block just to where he thought he was out of sight but could still see when I got home. He didn't notice me come in either. He sat and watched our house for 3 hours before I finally asked him if he wanted a pair of binoculars.
Avoid these guys like the plague, pushy, creepy , over priced.

Waterquest was awesome to work with! Very nice sales reps who are willing to find a way to make things work for you. The man who installed the unit was also very friendly! I generally stop by the actual business when it comes to these big decisions to see what type of people they are. These are the nicest people out there! And the water softener and water purification system are amazing! Call Waterquest now if you're looking for a system and let them take care of you!

I would stay away from this company. They sales person said it would be a 20 minute presentation, she stayed for over two hours! They were extremely pushy and would not take no for an answer. I am very suspicious of people who expect you to make a $4,000 decision in a minute. They struck me as being very dishonest. I would recommend Costco or Home Depot.

Great experience with water quest! The salesman was very knowledgeable and personable. I did not feel they were pushy and the we're able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely do business with them in the future!

Pushy saleman talked our ears off for nearly two hours and would only make appointments late in the evening. We told him no and he kept trying to push us for another ten minutes. They've continued to call us multiple times a month for over a year.

Unsatisfied with the product. We can not tell a difference with water softener. Main office did not know if they had a return policy or not. First, we had a man come to our door asking if someone could come by later that night to do a "free water harness test, since we had recently moved in." I don't know how they even knew that we had recently moved into the area. Then, later that night, we had salesmen come to our door on and use some sort of "lab kit" to convince us our water was hard enough to need the Avantapure (GE) Water Softener. After all of their claims, we thought the system would save us some money in the long run, so we agreed to purchase the system. They said the product would stretch our usage for our household soaps, detergents, cleaners, shampoo, etc. They said it could possibly help our water heater work better as well by clearing out some of the silt in it, therefore making our water turn hot faster. They said our skin and hair would not feel dry anymore. They also said the water softener would have some sort of "lifetime guarantee." Our water softener was installed on the next day after the salesmen came. They even "threw in" a "free" Reverse Osmosis filter and faucet for it, as well as "free" installation, 1 Soap Kit Deluxe, and "no tax fee." In total, the cost was $3,495.00. There was a woman who came to our home the next day (same day as the installation) that set up a loan to pay for the water softener. It has been more than two weeks and we are not feeling or seeing a difference. Our skin is still very dry, our hair is still dry. We are still having to use the same amount of soap, shampoo, etc. Our dishes still have hard water spots on them. I researched online and found that others have bought water softeners for significantly less than what we paid, ranging from $378-$1500. I even found that some people have bought the same Avantapure system, with the Reverse Osmosis, all the pipes to install it, and paid someone for installation at a significantly less price of $2100! I feel like buying this was a huge waste of money. We had just moved into this home. We thought this water softener would save us money in the long run, and essentially "pay for itself" over time, but we are not seeing or feeling the difference. The only difference we can tell is that the water tastes different, and not pleasurable. I called the main office we bought it from to ask if they had any form of return policy, and the receptionist did not know if they had a return policy or not. How would she not know the own policies of her company? That seemed awfully suspicious. She then said she would leave a message for someone to get back to me. I called the salesman who personally sold me the product and he said he couldn't refund me, but could "maybe work something out, such as free filters for the softener" and "would check and tell me if the setting on the softener was high enough." We don't want free filters. We don't want this over-priced softener at all. We don't want to be throwing out this monthly payment if there are no results that we feel are worth the money. We don't care if they uninstall the Reverse Osmosis filter system and the water softener and if they take back the "free" Soap Kit Deluxe (we have not used those products yet), as long as we get our money back. We just want our money back.

I had there system installed over 6 months ago and it has worked great. Granted the Sales guys were very "persistent" (you kind of have to be to earn peoples business) they came back for 3 appointments before we ever got it installed to let me do my own research and ask all my followup questions. Today I had to call them back to come and re-hook up the reverse osmosis because it was un-installed by another plumber that hooked it up wrong, and they are coming back out without any questions asked. I have been very satisfied. But everyone does have a different opinions.

2 cents. No BS.

These guys got me! What I mean is that they came out did the sales pitch! Utah water sucks. We're from Georgia, the water there is naturally soft. Anyway... We paid they installed everything was cool. I checked the reviews... They are craptastic! But our pipes froze from the instal. They came out thawed them heat taped the lines and charged us nothing. So I give em props. Btw no bull you can email me at [email protected]... Which I've had since 2004.... Anyway I think they are good. But everyone has their own story...

I think Spencer's review is a ...

I think Spencer's review is a bit suspect. He happens to hit all the important marketing gimmicks that suck people in. It doesn't surprise me though...nothing about this company suggests they're very honest.

They left an official lookin reply by mail questionnaire on my door a few days ago. What the look and feel of the questioner is designed to do is mimic something from the city. I actually thought it was from the city, but didn't intend on returning it. A few days after the door hanger was left, a couple of young folks knocked on my door. They knew my name, and told me they were in the area testing water. They said their company name, but again implied that they were with the city, and asked if it was okay to test my water in an hour. I have a pretty good b.s. meter, and it went up immediately . I asked who they were, and what they were selling. They said it was just a public service, and if my water was "bad", they had some products they'd suggest. Oh boy. While they didn't do anything overtly dishonest, their methods are truly lacking in integrity, and definitely unethical .

The irony is that Ive actually been seriously considering installing a water softner, and had they just said that's what they were selling I probably would have let them in.

Just had a "appointment setter" stop at my place. They got my information from county records that I refinanced and used that was being done due to refinancing and to make sure my water is safe. When asked if this is a to set up a sales pitch and I was told NO. I asked exactly what this was for then and he could not answer. I set up the appointment and then went online to find out about the company and discovered they sale water softeners and other related items. I then called them and they told me that it was not a sales pitch, but to test you water only. After getting on them a little they finally said this to to "introduce me to there product line". If they can not tell the truth on something like this, then I do not think that I can trust there service.
