I was happy at first with leaving my dog at this daycare. The staff was nice and the facility large. I was not given the "full" tour. I was allowed to see the main "play" area inside. I never saw the outside area where they take the dogs too. I noticed a few times when picking my dog up (in the colder months), he was being kept outside. Not sure why. The last time I took my dog I experienced the worst smell of urine inside the facility. I assumed it was because they had just opened. But why would the animals be urinating all night?? They board as well as daycare dogs. My dog became ill and was out of it for two days after that visit. My vet confirmed my theory that my dog was ill from inhaling that smell all day. We haven't been back since. I should mention, I had another incident where my dog was "nipped" and I noticed this injury although the daycare staff did not and only offered the explanation that they had a very over active dog there that day that played with my dog and possible caused the injury. Oh well. It is a nice idea, Dog daycare. Cleaning is important though. They need help in the clean air department.
