I chose Dr. Anika Alar on the recommendation of my doctor.
She is a good doctor, but the problems that we have to consult with her do not compensate. From the first appointment, my experience with the front desk was simply terrible - starting by recording my name wrong in my medical record, which made me have to drive for two hours to fix one of their mistake as all the prescriptions and requests from the labs were wrong. The service is awful. They are slow for everything. You will need extra time for them to answer the phone- when they answer! The receptionist does not even look at you, she just gives you the bill, generated by a cheap system.
They do not work on Fridays. I had an appointment on Monday, I tried a phone call to cancel on Friday. They did not have at least one machine to leave messages. After four days (on Monday) they charged me a $ 75 fee for canceling my appointment the same day! Really ??
I am changing doctors NOW, because it is a total disrespect for the patient - especially when the normal value charged for a medical visit is $ 504.00.
For this amount of consultation, we expect at least respect.
Invest in good technology and in training please, because your employees are very non-professionals.
I do not recommend this office.
