This is just a word of warning to anyone considering Carmax for your next car. Their quality standards are below anything I have seen. I purchased a car, the dash was cracked but I was assured that it would be repaired to their standards. Well after 4+ attempts, it still does not match the rest of the dash and it is extremely noticeable.

At this point they say it meets their quality standards and they won’t repair it anymore. It should have been replaced plain and simple. If they will settle for this kind of repair on something the customer can see, just imagine what they will throw together on something you can’t see.

Also, they broke my windshield and tried to pass off a non OEM one, which I caught and had to wait an additional week for the OEM glass. Complete nightmare!

I bought a car from carmax a couple of weeks ago, Matt took care of me, he was great, very very nice, and easy to get along with. He was there for my car needs, he was great. Anyone. Going there or making an appointment to see a car please ask for matt.
