Provided by YP.comI must have missed the day the good techs worked! I've been here twice. The 1st time was for a full-set/pedicure. The work was ok. I had to go home & shape my nails better. The 2nd time was to get my individual lashes refilled. Initially at 1st glacé my lashes looked great but when I got home & really looked at them I was pissed. This woman had just glued lashes on top of lashes on top of lashes! My lashes looked like a birds nest! I couldn't even comb through them & currently still can't. I should have just walked out when I woke up & realized the woman hadn't even taped my eyes closed! The situation could have been real bad at that point! (glue could have gotten in my eye or even worst glued my eye shut) But I though maybe this lady is the bomb & doesn't use tape! I am currently just letting my lashes grow out in hopes of having lashes next week! And lastly this place over charged me BIG TIME! I have lived & learned! Please learn from me & DO NOT GET YOUR LASHES DONE HERE.

Provided by YP.comI recently moved to Avalon Park, and went there for the first time this past Saturay. Customer service was the first thing lacking. Never have I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially by the only guy that worked there! The workers there gave me a look if I was a second class citizen, no conversation was ever started by any of the staff, and the lady that did my pedicure never made any eye contact with me. She was hasty and kept reading a magazine while massaging my legs. Sure, they did not treat their other customers that way, and took their time to cater to them. It was a Saturday afternoon, my day off from working at a main hospital. I was not going with makeup or nice clothes. I didn't look like a bum, either. Just wanted to relax.

Provided by YP.comThis is the worst place I have ever been to. Ever. I had to get a full set done for myself and my daughter and I live in Avalon. I chose them because they were more economical and located near us, but what a mistake. I don't remember his name but the man who works there did my nails. I stressed that I wanted them natural looking, no color. So he not only did them with a ridiculous pink color and white tips (looks like my nails were almost purple-ish) but he snapped at me once when I stopped him after the first nail telling him that I didn't think that was what I wanted. He said "JEEZ, you haven't even let me finish!". Well I did and I'm convinced the man has never had training. The acrylic was so thick and chunky that I was completely embarrassed to be seen with them. The white tips he added were a different thickness than the rest and it was all uneven. I felt like I was wearing olives at the end of my fingers, it was just a huge pile of uneven acrylic.
Had my daughter not been with me (her nails were at least decent, done by a woman) I would have had them soak them off and left without paying. I ended up going over to In Style and while they are twice the price, she managed to take these horrible BLOBS at the end of my fingers and transform them into what looks like a profession REAL, NATURAL looking nail. It was painful as she had to really file down what they had done. She just kept saying WOW, she should have taken a before and after picture.
I tell my children all the time that you get what you pay for and shame on me, I didn't follow my own advice. I will stick with In Style because although they are more expensive, they take the time to get to know what you want, they know what they are doing, they don't talk in other languages in front of you and they don't rush you out the door.
AVOID this place at all costs.
