Founded in 1995, The Chrysalis Center is community mental health center that provides health care services for children, adolescents and families. The center offers nutrition, crisis intervention, life skills training and case management services. Its services also include psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning and review. The Chrysalis Center provides individual and family therapies, as well as psychological evaluation, classroom intervention and therapeutic after-school programming services. With more than 20 staff members, it additionally offers child care services. The center organizes various recreational, educational, social and cultural activities. The Chrysalis Center administers various individualized programs for the development and improvement of emotional stability, assertiveness, decision making, personal hygiene, and family and peer relationships.
