Provided by YPmobileThey hire RN's like Jennisa Diaz who works in Dr. Phillips hospital on Turkey Lake rd in the CPCU unit in tower B. She has been arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and credit card theft from a patient who was in her care. She also uses cocaine to stay up and allert with Doctors on staff. If you go or end up there be careful hide your valuables and pray for your well being....

Provided by YP.comAVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COST, Drive down I-4 to Celebration hospital or down to Downtown to ORMC. I am a diabetic type one I have been going to this hospital since 2003 (back in the day it was Sandlake Hospital) This was my to-go hospital, I LOVED it. However in the past couple 3-4 years the service is really bad. I have had life threating emergencies, to where my skin was turning purple from not having oxygen and they still made me wait (in the ER) my pulse was 148 when they checked me in and my blood sugar was over 800. Now you would think they would give this some sort of priority but no. I got admitted to the ICU for 3 days, some nurses were superb, however there was one nurse who was a higher up nurse who was really rude to me, she made me cry. When your body goes through what I go through when I go through DKA the last thing you want to do it move, I mean I didn't even have the energy to pee (literally- I couldn't) this nurse came in for an exam she needed to make, I told her I was too weak, and she snapped she said "you're doing it whether you want to or not, this is no a damn hotel and I am NOT at your service, so you will do as I say because I can't do it later" my mom heard the whole thing (she was in the RR in the room) omg, that was dramatic, here I am in a bed unable to move and this lady is threating me to do a procedure that I gave no consent to, (after my mom yelled at her she left, I asked the other nurses for her name and no one would give me the name because "they were afraid to lose their jobs" wow..). That was about 2 years ago, well recently went in Aug, I wasn't feeling well however they did see me right away, they put an IV in me, half way, not even correctly, I usually use up a bag of fluid in 45 mins, this one bag took 9 hours! nineeee! I was like omg.. and then my hand swollen up, the thing is that the nurse knew it wasn't all the way in, but she said she couldn't change it (wouldn't tell me why either), then another nurse took over my care and he wouldn't change it either! then I got transferred to a share room (which is fine) except that the nurses on the floor were horrible, I threw up twice inside the room, I called and called for nausea meds for about 4 hrs, no one came. I guess I can't say I was not a bit glad inside when I saw their faces when they walked in the room and seen the throw up on the floor, I'm glad I wasn't having a heart attack. Then the patient in the next bed had a visitor, who was still there laughing loudly and eating at 3 am! three! this was a male visitor, I am in a all female room so visitors are not allowed at 3 am or so I thought. Well I called the nurse and she was like "well I feel so rude kicking him out" like EXCUSE ME?! it's three AM! either way horrible experience, I talked to 4 different people with management positions in the hospital, all I got was an "I'm sorry, well now at least we know what we are doing wrong" I swear I'm NEVER going back. I just got my bills, one for 7K and one for 4K, one is from April of 2014, they have my insurance on file, but no they are charging me as a "self pay" my insurance is in network with them. I called and they asked me if I lived in Miami and I was born in 1969. They had my information mixed up with 2 different patients! when I asked for a breakdown of my bill, they hung up on me. I called m insurance to see if they had even submitted a claim, and nothing not even the April 2014 one. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST!!!

Provided by YP.comThe only way I'll ever go back to this hospital is if I'm incapacitated or dead. The ER is a joke. If you want to be ignored, then this is the place for you. I had to use to bathroom in the ER and pressed the button for the nurse. No one came for 1 1/2 hours. I finally unhooked myself from all the machines and just went to the bathroom. No one ever came to see why I was unhooked. I was admitted and the service got worse. One example of many, I asked for a list of medications I was taking. It took 3 nurses, 1 nurse tech and 60 minutes for them to figure this out. If you can avoid this hospital, that would be your best bet. Never, ever, EVER again.

Provided by YP.comIf you are considering which hospital to use in Orlando keep this review of Orlando Health in mind:
My son went into the ER there while on vacation. It was after midnight, he had an earache, in pain, couldn't sleep so I took him to Orlando Health. The person at the desk basically treated me like a dirt bag until they saw the insurance card come out of my wallet. He got through triage and was put in a room. We waited, and waited. After 90 minutes of not seeing a sole, I stopped a nurse who was walking in the hall to find out when my son would be seen, who stated they would be right back with some information. No one asking if he needed a blanket because it was like a fridge in there, no one saying sorry we have alot going on. I could see the doors where the ambulances pull up and not a single one showed while we were in that room.Thirty minutes later still nothing, my son had fallen asleep and I left. So after almost 5 months I get a bill letting me know that my claim is being worked through "special resolution", (my insurance company said they JUST received the bill when I spoke with them today) and I may get billed. So I try to contact you wait on hold for 57 minutes before talking to anyone, was told it would be resolved. Got a call back saying it is not resolved, that you are still billing my insurance. Missed a call from you, tried to call back again, sat on hold for 41 minutes some one picked up and hung up. If Orlando Health's catch phrase is "every story makes us who we are". Who do you think you are after this story? The only thing I can think of is they are grossly under staffed and that is why you have to wait more than 2 hours to be seen by a doc, or wait more than 40 minutes on hold waiting to speak with anyone.
