Edward Jackson, MD, is board certified in family medicine, with certificates of added qualifications in geriatrics and hospice and palliative care. He was recognized as one of the top family physicians in the state of Michigan in 2008, and his efforts in teaching residents, medical students and fellow family physicians were recognized with the Family Physician Educator of the Year Award for 2009, given by the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Jackson earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine of the Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in family medicine at Saginaw Cooperative Hospital in Michigan where he also served as faculty and program director.
