Horrible movers! Arrived exactly two hours late, claimed dispatch gave them the wrong address; took an hour to find my new apartment that's five mins away despite me texting them the address and giving it to dispatch when I booked this; rude, obnoxious dispatch guy who claims to be the owner. You may have to call the cops to get your stuff from their truck if you use these guys bc their company policy is to hold it hostage until you pay for all the extra time etc. that's their fault. Wish I had checked these reviews prior to booking. Horrible, horrible, horrible service!

They also go by the name "The Movers". They ripped us off on 5/23/08 one week before Ch 9 Action reporter Todd Ulrich busted them ripping off someone else. They changed the original price quoted and then once we got loaded and to our destination they demanded cash before they unloaded and put a lock on the door of the truck and threatened to take our stuff and put it in storage. I called 911 and had the police try and talk to them but ultimately I had to pay the movers just to get my stuff unloaded. It was a nightmare!!!!

I was misquoted and misinformed about acceptable payment forms. The movers damaged my furniture and the company was not responsive to my claim. This company is not based in Florida (don���t let their listing on yellow pages and google search fool you��� they���re not local).



THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST MOVE EVER! AVOID THIS COMPANY- NO MATTER HOW CHEAP THEIR QUOTE IS!!!

I used these movers under the name of University Movers. I was quoted one price over the phone and was then billed another, higher price after the move. The receptionist told me that I could pay with an ATM/Credit Card or personal check and then the day of the move, the driver demanded CA$H only. Additionally, the movers also damaged one of my furniture pieces. I filed a claim to get reimbursement for the replacement parts- it���s been about six months and I still have not been reimbursed. After battling back and forth between the moving company and their insurance claims agent, I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau to help resolve this issue. Turns out that ���University Movers��� aka ���Fast & Affordable Movers��� and ���Fast and Affordable Moving Service��� are not even located in Florida; they are based out of New Orleans, Louisiana... the BBB could not help me with my claim.



THIS HAS BEEN MY WORST MOVE EVER! AVOID THIS COMPANY- NO MATTER HOW CHEAP THEIR QUOTE IS!!! ���You get what you pay for������ I learned this the hard way :(

If you value your belongings, stay far away from this company. Unmarked damaged truck(s) used with no equipment - no padding, tape, tools, etc. Many items damaged, property damage on both ends. Mysterious 15% charge appears before they will unload. Crew complains they are paid just $50 per job; company charges well over $100/hour. Manager then denies any damage and just says "sue me". Worst moving experience of our lives - and we've done it many times.
