This is the most abusive place I could possibly imagine! I know the Lakesides are connected. I do not know about the one in Orlando...but...I took my daughter to the one in Jacksonville Florida...she managed to get a call out to me...and the screams I heard in the background where those of a girl....I literally heard the tech cursing and throwing the girl up against the wall..my daughter had managed to tell me how bad the abuse was....from the techs...I contacted the management. I related what I had been told, and observed. She told me "Those people are crazy anyway...and they will not remember it." If only walls could talk. I sent my daughter to a very loving...NON-religious...treatment center where she was treated with love and respect...and is well on her way to recovery...READ reviews...often treatment centers put positive reviews up to get business...after that horrible experience...I spent long hours researching for a human place....

My beloved, son, David, has been sick for over two years and has needed treatment. Yesterday, my prayers were answered, when two wonderful officers assisted me in thecrisis of David's delutional, paranoia, behavior along with self-inflected fumes coming from in his room.I only hope and pray other parents are reading this to let you know it's more than ok toBaker Act your child/grown child/ adult, as by doing so - you have saved their life and don't have to out-live them. It's like having a mad dog running around loose and finally with the grace of God through all emergency police offiers and Lakeside; (angels) the madness goes away and there is peace that goes beyound all understanding. I only hope they keep my son for more than 72 hours as he has been sick for so many years, unemployed, college graduate, a good person - all he needed was help and needs at least a 30-day treatment. Don't be afraid to Baker-Act - it's an act that saves your life and beloved son or daughter.Fro

I HATE LAKESIDE... THIS AND IM SURE MANY OTHER PHAMECUATICAL SUPPLIERS ARE A DUCE. IF U WANT TO LET UR KID DIE INSIDE WHILE SPENDING MONEY. THIS IS THE PLACEit feels good to say that. this is just second, to juvey. fed with lies, and (iguess) (parents and america`s) manipulation. most of the people that do end up here are :( from fostercareits just something else that will drag u under the sewage of VERY poor childcare and neglect... haha suckers i guess that this wont register to u child killers... and that im hullucinating.. this right? ihope all of u get this.... :0 and fuuck u... this is dedicated to all of the haters fuuuuuuuuuuuuck yoooooooouuuuuuuuuu u no who u are.
