Worst Ever

Got a quote and they came out and installed my windshield. The next day I got in my car to see water on my floor mats. The window frame was soaked. It took me an hour with a blow dryer to get it dry again. There are still watermarks on the headliner from the water seeping in from outside. I called and they told me they couldn't come out because they were too busy, so I had to take my car into them. I took the car in at 8:30am and asked them to re-seat the window. They said they don't do that since most break when removed. They insisted that patching it would work perfectly. I agreed. The minute I left the store, I heard the loud whistling again. At this point I was still fine with them just removing the window and starting over. They said they couldn't do that since the patch they did would ruin my headliner. They told me I would have to wait 72hrs and they would try another patch. I told them that was unacceptable, and that I would like a refund. They said "No Refunds Ever" and that I would have to take them to small claims court. I told him that I wouldn't leave without it being fixed properly. He threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. He said he would hit my car with a hammer all over if I refused to leave and that I could deal with his insurance company. I refused and called his bluff, and called the police. They came and I got a case number to give to my credit card company as proof of trying to settle the issue. I then called another Windshield place and told them the situation. They came out immediately and replaced the windshield. No headliner damage as the owner had stated would happen. I spoke to Maaco who just painted my car, and my mechanic about the issue. They both said that that is a common problem with this guy. His positive feedback is all made up by his webpage builder. As a matter of fact, there were 2 other customers in there and one of them had the same issue I had.He had to wait to get his patch job while they did a new install. I was duped and hope no one else gets conned into using this guy.

I purchased a new Windshield for my wifes 2006 Cadillac CTS.

They came to my home to install it, charged me and left.

They asked that I wait a few hours to drive it.

The next evening My wife and I got in the car to find that rain seeped into the car. It was on both floor mats and saturated the frame of the window which is covered with headliner cloth.

I spent the next hour drying the inside of the car with a blow dryer, and then left the car until Monday morning.

I drove the car to the windshield companies place of business first thing when they opened.

The window was making loud squealing noises from the open areas around the windshield.

I asked them to replace the windshield while I waited. They said all they were willing to do was patch it, as trying to remove it and reseat it may crack the windshield. I stressed that I wanted it reseated, but they insisted that this would fix the problem.

I waited as they did the patch work. When they were done I left and immediately heard the squealing noise again.

I brought it back and asked them to re-seat it as I had asked in the first place.

They refused as then they tried to tell me that since they tried to patch it, there was no way to remove it without damaging my auto interior headliner.

I then told them that that was not acceptable, since the window leaks, and make a loud noise. They then said If I waited 72 hours they would try to patch it again.

I then told them I wanted a full refund and I will get it done somewhere else.

They refused and asked me to leave as I was visibly upset. I told them I would not leave until it was done.

I then called the Orlando Florida police to get a record of this event. The police tried to get them to fix the problem, but he refused.

As of right now my windshield is being replaced by another company, and you should see the charge from that very soon.

They said it would be $200 because of the mess the other company made.
