I read the reviews and was expecting a lot more.
First, staff was rude; acted like they haited they job and were just going through the motions.
The pizza was second rate, really doughy uncooked crust, and a puddle of red greasey toppings. I have had a better pizza at Pappa John’s!
People have said they were great a few years ago, but they have seemed to have lost their passion, mojo, and desire to seem to care about their customers or their quality of food.
They may have been better years ago, but don’t expect to get a “real” NY slice of pie.

I was shocked to see the reviews below. I really enjoyed the pizza and the atmosphere. The owner was really nice and even talked with me for a bit. More importantly the food was exactly what I wanted.

while stranded in orlando, I ordered from this place based on the recommandation of the hotel clerk. It took 1 hour and a half for one large pizza and one chef salad to arrive. The $6.75 chef salad had a slice of tomato, some mushroom slices, and olives... no cheese, no ham, no turkey. I called and was told another would be sent, now I have to wait another hour for a freakin' salad? This was truly the only time i wished i'd gone with domino's. By the way it's mamma not mama and what we got was not new york style.

My pizza was undercooked,soggy crust, and cold...when I called to complain the staff was rude.. to say the least...take my advice and get a frozen pizza from 7-11... it's faster and better..

I have lived in the different boroughs in New York and Jersey, and whoever wrote that nasty review needs to eat somewhere else, because they ain't got any taste! I mean look at the other places they said to eat at. What about mama Mia's awesome food? Did That guy think to even mention that in his review? Racist?!?! What's wrong, they didn't get something for free when they complained? I wouldn't take my family anywhere else to get pizza. We get our pizza on Friday nights and we got to get our wings on Saturday nights. The owners brother has been working there forever, or at least as long as we've been eating there (about 8 years). He cracks us up, and my kids love going there. I also bring people in from work to eat pizza for lunch. I wish i was mama mia because if someone was talkin smack like that about my place and i found out about it... i'd take care of that punk straight up italian style! Whoever wrote that whack review needs to just stay home and eat some nasty frozen grocery store pizza. stop takin up space at my favorite pizza shop, maybe the rest of us who actually know something about good pizza can get served faster. i also live in belle isle, and i'm hoping i ain't got neighbors that messed up! Its nice livin on the water but some of y'all just crazy!
