I walked in to get $10 of gasoline today just to top off the fuel in my personal vehicle. I counted out a five dollar bill and 5 one dollar bills to the older clerk standing behind the counter. When I pump my gas he has only entered $9. When I return inside to ask why he did this, he says that I only gave him $9. No problem. He can do this to many customers each day to raise his profit levels, but I guess he fails to realize that each will be a one time customer. Enjoy the dollar. He probably needed it more than I did anyway. I drive for a living and stop at the neighboring station every day. Over the period of a year I have purchased approximately $20000 of fuel, oil, snacks, coffee, and other items from gas stations on this street. I will make sure that not one single dollar goes to this station, even if I have to pay much more. I do not recommend you visit this station.
