I saw Dr Shure was a horrible experience The office is not organized. They could care less about your time. I had to ask repeatedly about filling out paperwork because the lady was too busy taking appts. Then we waited over 2 hours to see the doc and he didnt apologize, say thank you for waiting so sorry.. just walked in as if this is the norm... HA. well treating people as if they are just another number is not normal. Will NEVER recommend and will tell everyone I see to stay away they think they are too important to make you feel important.. . Too cocky for me. Ill find a kind doctor with a great track record I am sure there are plenty out there

Dr. Mintzer is great

I've seen 4 Orthos at Jewett and I have to say I have never had anyone be rude to me. I have had that occur at other practices, but never at Jewett. My favorite Dr at Jewett, by a wide margin, is Dr. Mintzer. He did an excellent job on my shoulder and he's a character too. ;) Now, I will agree with the other reviewer regarding the MRI. The woman was rude - especially to a couple patients who were in the wrong area. She was also rude to me with the MRI and it was a MISERABLE MRI. Unfortunately, I've had 3 MRIs in the past year and been in the room with my son during 2 of his. We have had all of our other MRIs at NSI Winter Park and they were excellent. The facility is top notch, people were kind and the MRI was pleasant. The one at Jewett was so loud - it was very difficult to stay in place and allow it to be done. Additionally, the results said I had a tear when in reality I had no cartilage. I honestly feel that an MRI with contrast at NSI wouldn't have yielded the same d

Jewett doctors ok, bureacrisy, MRI Center terrible

I have been receiving treatment at Jewett Orthopaedic for two months now, and have had a mixed bag in terms of service. The doctor I am seeing, Dr. Chuong, is OK, although he doesn't seem to take my complaint seriously enough. The woman who gave me the MRI in the MRI department at the Orange Avenue, Winter Park facility was downright rude and ill-tempered. There are two offices where you can get an MRI, and during the half-hour I was waiting for mine, two different patients walked in and were told they were in the wrong facility. This is obviously a problem with the scheduling department, who do not tell you which office to go to for your MRI. They need to make this clear when you make your appointment. Because the MRI machine is so loud, they offer you headphones with fm radio. The problem is that the earphones they give you are not noise-canceling earphones, so when they turn on the MRI machine, you can't hear the music anyway. The other issue I have is that it takes forever
