Worst experience ever. I dropped my power tool for a inspection/repair. We agreed that he will going to take a look and get back with me with a price for the repair. An hour later he told me that the repair has been made without my authorization. I told him that his price exceeded the amount for a used replacement tool. His response was that I have to pay for the repair otherwise he will sell it as a used item.

I took my Karcher pressure washer for repair to this company on August 19, 2014, as he is listed as the Karcher authorized repairman. After many, many calls from me but none back from them, I finally went in 2 weeks and told them I just wanted the machine back. He said he'd reassemble it and call me when it was ready. I never heard back from him so today I went in and just picked up the pieces which are now useless to me in the trunk of my car. It still has the broken part the owner said he had trouble getting. This company is going out of business and I can see why.

I have to disagree with cooltool's review, S-Tek has been in business since 1986 and there is a reason for this. The owner has more experience than anyone in this town. He is honest and gives everyone advice on what needs to be done on a repair without trying to rip ;them off. When you come to S-Tek it may not be the neatest but you can bet that you will be treated fairly and your tools will be repaired correctly. I have always trusted his experience.

*** WARNING *** do not take any power equipment to this place if you want it back or need it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. When you take a step inside this place, it should be a warning to you by how extremely messy the it is. Took over 4 months and many calls and a visit to the place before I got my drill back. I would never recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Anyway, I know a good place where you can get your tools fixed quick and with good service.
