Sandra McCollough, APRN, earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Florida College of Nursing in Gainesville. An active participant in professional associations and her community, Sandra was presented with the State of Florida Nurse Excellence for Nurse Practitioner award by the Florida Nurses Association, and has served as a medical staff volunteer at the Walt Disney World Marathon. In addition to her considerable clinical experience, Sandra is a seasoned clinical research project coordinator, clinical trial sub-investigator and presenter. She has participated in more than 20 clinical research projects and multiple clinical trials, and she’s been an invited speaker at several nursing conventions. She is an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Central Florida and provides clinical training for new APRNs. Awards & Recognition Sandra was presented with the State of Florida Nurse Excellence for Nurse Practitioner award by the Florida Nurses Association.
