One of the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been. Great food!

The menu rates are completely different from the web rates. And also expensive. Not worth it.

The food is the best I have ever tasted! I have eaten at many Indian resturants all over the country and I thought I knew Indian food. But, after eating at Shalimar, I now know what terrific Indian food tastes like. The place is clean and the prices are the same as any other Indian resturant, only your getting great food here. The chicken and lamb melt in your mouth. The naan is light with a touch of crispiness on the bottom. Naan from other resturants is doughy and thick. Everything we had was great. If you want great authentic Indian food, then Shalimar is the place.

The best Indian I've tried it all over the us and no place has been as good as here. The butter chicken is fabulous and there bread and bryiani is so fresh and delicious! You will truly enjoy it.

Very pricy for the quality of food that they offer. Very disappointed, sorry cannot recommend !!!!!!

Excellent food and prices. Very warm and accomodating owner and staff. Open till midnight! I found Shalimar while cruising around after 11pm seeing what food I would SETTLE for and then ... an open sign next to Indian Cuisine. I couldn't believe my eyes. SOLD!!!

We were vacationing in Orlando and decided to eat Indian Food, found Shalimar Classic Indian Restaurant on International Drive. The food is expensive and tasteless, service is too slow. My advise to travelers to goto McDonald's or Burger King instead of wasting their time and money on this useless place. They can try some real Indian food somewhere else later.

I visited Shalimar when my mother and I were on vacation. It was a quick walk from our hotel. The waiter, Christopher, was excellent in describing his favorite dishes and recommending what we should have. The service was impeccable, but the food was glorious. It was perfect in every way and everything complimented itself just as Christopher said it would. I will be craving this restaurant for the rest of my life and want to go back to Orlando to experience it again!

I dined at Shalimar on a Thursday evening with my wife and 7 year old daughter. We were the 1st ones to arrive at about 5pm. We were graciously greeted by the staff. I tried a Taj Mahal Indian Beer and I was not disappointed. We began with an appetizer consisting of 2 homemade Samosas. They were by far the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Then we ordered a chicken gram masala dish and a bowl of medium spicy lentils. Both dishes were served with Basmati rice and were exquisite. If you wish to please your palate at reasonable prices, try the Indian gourmet experience at Shalimar restaurant.

I am a resident of Sebring Florida, which is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Orlando. I consider myself an expert of good curry chicken, and this was well worth that drive. I will definitely be back again, as I have saved that destination to my "favorites" on my GPS.



I never dine alone, but when I walked in I felt as if I were at home. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great Indian dining experience from beginning to check.

What a delicious meal!! My husband is a huge fan of Indian food but me...not so much. Well.....I'm hooked! We had an amazing meal last night! The Vegetable Samosas were so tasty. I orderd the Chicken Korma and my husband had the Lamb Curry Shahi. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and prepared to order. The Tandoori Naan bread will melt in your mouth. The service was fantastic, very attentive and courteous. The manager Perry made us feel like we were having dinner in his home. We can't wait to return and bring our friends with us!!

We had the most pleasant surprise yesterday when we entered the Shalimar - the food was absolutely delicious! The food was alive with flavors! A must try if you're in Orlando!!

After living in Orlando for over 10 years, my wife and I have never managed to find a good Indian Restaurant up until now.



We walked into the Shalimar, and ordered a chicken vindaloo and a meat biriani. Both were delicious and flavorful, and by far the best we had ever tasted.



Every compliment to the Manager, Perry and the chef on a wonderful experience........we will most certainly be back!

This is our favorite place to eat - the food is exceptional and the service is wonderful. We would recommend to anyone who would like to experience Indian cuisine.

The menu has a variety and everything we have tried has been delicious.

I brought my son here for the buffet lunch and we both loved it. The food was delicious and the people were very nice. The owner, Perry, came by to talk to us and he made sure we were enjoying our meal. That kind of personal attention doesn't happen very often and we appreciated it.

My husband and I were in the area vacationing and our hotel was in the vacinity. We had walked passed the Shalimar several times and the smell was so inviting, I just had to try the food. My husband who is a very conservative, fussy eater was hesitant, but he agreed to try it. When the meal was over, he was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with our food choices. The service was very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing, it was so flavorful and seasoned so well. I actually preferred this meal over an over priced fancy resturant we had visted the evening before.

I really liked this place. It's not the fanciest place, but definitely not bad looking.... the food, though, is awesome!!!!!!!!! We had the nahari and chicken curry. It was very yummy. I was a little upset that there was so little rice given :(



But, I'd definitely go again if I were in the Orlando area.

Wonderful food, friendly people. Drove two hours, past hundreds of great resturants, just to eat at this fabulous resturant. The price is reasonable. You won't be dissapointed.

we were there for our 1 week vacation, and were dying to eat Pakistani Halal Food.

I must say my husband who complains to eat Pakistani food even on vacation went to this resturant every day.

Mr Pervaiz (perry) who is the owner entertained all the clients by himself. Staff is exceptional and FOOD IS ...well lets just say I am sure my mom is the worlds best cook but the cook has a taste of my grandmother, everything was so perfect. I am in connecticut and wishing i could fly to pick up the Chicken tandoori Biryani.



After Bans Road from karachi pakistan, where each street has a speciality of food, Shalimar was of the same taste.

It makes me proud because they are representing the homeland, but also introducing th e true essence of our traditional food.



Thanks everyone at Shalimar for making my trip FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNnnnnn with homemade food. I was craving it.
