The Heart of Florida United Way is a nonprofit organization that is one of the largest providers of funds for critical health and human service programs in the Central Florida. The organization maintains leadership club and The Council of Women. It also operates a community information and referral helpline, volunteer resource center and the Gifts In Kind Center that works with agencies to provide emergency assistance. The Heart of Florida United Way conducts a stewardship program. The organization works in partnership with local businesses, government agencies, charities and individuals to increase awareness about health issues. It participates in a variety of community events. The Heart of Florida United Way is located in Orlando, Fla.
