I a vacation Lodge the first time in 2010 for about 2 months and it was scary the drug dealers and prostitutes you have to really watch your back I left Florida and then I moved back from my job in 2014 in February and I stayed at vacation Lodge until August of 2014 and this time I can say it was better and they have security they don't play there's no I didn't see any signs of drug drug dealers any prostitutes you still got to watch your back around that area but it was safer but I also have to say that I found that the second time that I stayed there that housekeeping came every week or every week clean my room empty my trash every week every two to three days and they also now have a restaurant that they haven't I guess put on their website but its right next door to the check in area and they serve pizza and sandwiches and stuff like that I'm so in the price is not bad for a month monthly I was paying 6 something a month and its all utilities paid you get cable under wifi sucks and some of the people that went by and the check in area need customer service training but the guy that works days there isn't nice as can be I never had no trouble matter fact I left in August of 2014 and I had paid up until September and they gave me a refund for the month so you know if I ever have to go back to Florida and this is the place I would stay I mean if located right by the bus line you got a grocery store up the street there's a lot of restaurants and actually oh btw is really changed in that area you don't you just gotta watch your back there still some riff raff around there and I'm not saying that it's like a totally safe area at all I have to say that it's really improved and ask for the vacation Lodge yeah granted it's not a five star hotel but it's a good place to stay

great place to stay it down town and cheap

i stayed at vacation lodge they offered pay 100.00 get 4 days free then i paid 1 month in advanced i thought my stay was great i was little scared of drug activity around hotel . but front desk and housekeeping stay and security staff were great never had any problems at all would recomemend staying again
