Before contacting Custom Storm Shutters, I had contacted another company who came out, gave an estimate and a time frame of 90 days because they would have to contract with another company to have the roll downs made. I contacted Steve who owns Custom Shutters in Ormond Beach. They have their own warehouse which knocked down the wait time, and were $500 less expensive. I just had them installed. They are beautiful, easy to use, and the installers, Bill and Brent could not have been more professional. I would recommend this company to anyone. I'm so happy I used them.

Prior to contacting Custom Storm Shutters, we had a contract to install our shutters with one of the other local contractors who was voted one of the "Best of..." in this category in the Daytona Beach Journal. After we waited 13 months for our shutters, we finally asked the "Best of...." contractor for a refund and we started over. Thankfully, a friend had an excellent experience with Custom Storm Shutters and recommended them to us. They are the real "Best of...". Steve is very professional and promised to complete our job within the next three months. Two and one half months later, our shutters are installed and they look great. We learned a very important lesson during this process and that is that being voted the "Best of......." is meaningless. Custom Storm Shutters Direct will get our recommendation in this category every time. Thank you for your superior customer service and product.

I've used Custom storm Shutters twice; once on my home and once on my storefront business. Both times, the owner was there to answer all of my questions.

The price was fair, the install looked good, and I feel a little better about my family's safety (in case we decide to stay put during our next hurricane).

In a very efficient manner, he moved ahead with all of the appropriate clearances and the installation team installed the shutters on schedule. We are delighted with the quality of the installation and the professionalism of your staff. We were not home when the installation was done and frankly, aside from the fact that the shutters were installed and operational, we couldn't even tell that the work crew had been in and through the unit. My wife and I are delighted with our shutters. It is remarkable how well they blend in with the existing structure and disappear when in the up position. The color match on our stucco is dead-on and even the track appears to be original construction. They also did a great job in wiring the switches into our existing circuits. Everything looks original with no ugly surface wiring.

Thier professionalism made the whole process a pleasure. They managed the details of permitting and condo approvals for us in a timely manner and completed the work on schedule. We highly recommend Custom Stom Shutters Direct! D.M.
