Provided by YP.comI am glad that you brought this to my attention. I think it is important that I make sure our company knows someone felt this way. I recruit specifically for our Ormond Beach office and only contact potential employees that live within a 30 mile radius, so I cannot speak for any other office, but I would like to address your concerns just to clarify a few things. We ARE a Senior Benefits company-and what we do IS sales and education. We see people everyday, go over their specific situation and then educate them on what is available to them. We then pair them up with the product that works best for them. The owner of this office is the person that meets with potential candidates. Initially, he does a presentation about our company and the specifics of the job-so each person can get a good picture of what the position would look like. We then offer a one on one interview for those we feel are a good fit and are interested in moving forward. I have been present at each of these Career Briefing's and have not encountered the situation the person on this page describes.
There are 15 agents in this office and I would welcome anyone to speak with any of them to ask them about the job and work environment. We are proud of the office and team we have here and I am personally thankful and grateful to have this position.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I do hope that you find a job that blesses you as much as this job has blessed me.

Provided by YP.comI had my first bait and switch interview today and I drove 50 miles for the crap! Position was advertised as a Senior Benefits Specialist. The person who set up the interview outright lied when I asked if the position was sales, I was told no, it's more like counseling. The guy came into a room full of potential applicants and started to apologize right off the bat about,”the mistake.” I called him on it and he did not deny it. I couldn’t keep my mouth shut; I just had to ask if this was the ole bait a switch scheme. Needless, to say a handful of people got up and left the building right then and there. (I was much nicer than I should have been.) There was only one person left filling out an application when I left. I had to ask a few more (now keep in mind that I was professional about it) pertinent questions, just so the person remaining knew what he was getting into. I don’t think he “the applicant” caught my message, because he was still there when I left. Please! Who wants to do business with someone who treats potential applicants with such disregard? How do you think they treat their employees when they have to lie to get new ones through the door, and what kind of business practices do they adhere to with their customers?
