My wife and I went to Oroville for a new procedure that they started offering (Histotripsy). We were in the area for 5 days and spent time at the hospital for 3 of those days. Every step of the way we were well taken care of. The hospital administration team helped to coordinate our travel between the hotel & the hospital, their shuttle drivers were always kind, courteous, and drove carefully!
The intake team were knowledgeable and quick.
The nurses before the procedure were incredibly kind!
The anesthesiologists were wonderful!
The doctors took great care of my wife!
The nurses after anesthesia continued to take wonderful care to manage any post-procedure pain!
The nurses that helped my wife recover so we could go back to the hotel also were attentive and helped manage any after affects like nausea.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this facility! We won't hesitate to go back if we ever need to!

Oroville Hospital Pain & Spine Center

This is a fine pain center with an excellent highly skilled staff I have found them to be experienced and careing at all stages of my treatement as well as accepting Medicare & Medical and it is outpatient.I appreciated the fact that I got seen faster at first and then appointments take a little longer as treatment proceeds,it is never very long however and that way new people who may be in distress get seen and treated faster at first, which shows their care as well as their experienced approach to treatment,I was on methadone for 10 years i was a mess but am MUCH better now, so happy i did this,so better in mind, body and spirit, thank you Oroville Hospital Pain & Spine,I needed you and you have come through 5 stars!

P.S. I have lived in Oroville off and on over 25 years and I have to say the patients are terrible, self absorbed, lacking patience, totally self centered&inconsiderate of both other patients and the staff, they expect immediate & personalized care without respect for the people trying to save lives,at times,it can take a long time to get in and out of the ER and the staff would like nothing more than to get them out faster, and the ER is only for life threatening issues, and people who have to pay cash for itrarely go there for things you should go to your regular MD to address, and if you can wait 4 hours then go home & treat it yourself, you could have and probably should have treated it at home & made an appointment for your regular MD to look at it,no doubt it's faster and cheaper if people only go to the ER for life treatening issues.lately many people are fan's of saying "OH" thank you for your service''to soldiers, I knew one who only manned a desk in Hawaii, but have only complaints for people who work their butt's off every day,and every day, they save lives,so to the Oroville Hospital staff every one,THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE ! :)

I went there once with heart attack systems, was put on a machine to check heart functions and they took a blood sample. From there I was put in a private room and for 3 days only saw a doctor once and no explanation as to why my left arm was numb other than to be told I was being observed! Was checked out not knowing what was wrong and went to my family doctor who determined I had a pinched nerve in my neck! I think they kept me because I had great Insurance through the Aero-space co. I worked for!

if at all possible do not go there . I spent all day there and they ran the same test over and over and kept telling me the last person who seen me didn't know what they were talking about . One nurse told me the doctor didn't know what she was talking about and I needed another test . The female doctor was nice and seemed to know what was going on . The nurses seemed to just be running up my bill . After an all day wait without any progress I just left . Got a hefty bill . Going to paradise or chico if at all possible

I will never again go to this hospital! We originally went to the prompt care clinic (affiliated with them) and was sent to the ER for my 7 year old to be seen in need of an ultrasound. We went and we waited more than five hours to be seen. We watched more and more people come in and those who were already there before us hadn't even been called! I used great patience and understanding while watching others rant and rave at the staff. My son was hungry and tired so we politely left. Then they billed my insurance for an ER visit. Basically they billed an ER visit for asking us what the problem was and taking a blood pressure! I was warned by others before going and I did not listen to them. I have learned my lesson! I would rather drive to Feather River or Enloe! No hospital is perfect but they are the worst!

I don't know who wrote this description, but they clearly have not been a patient at Oroville Hospital. I just had the absolute WORST hospital experience there and all I can say is if you can avoid being an inpatient there by all means do. Between a Hospitalist who screwed up my pain medications and a staff so shorthanded that I never saw a washcloth in the 4 days I was there (seriously) it was a pretty miserable experience.
