This was a waste of time and gas money,. All of the churches and other agencies told me to go to advocap,
I wanted some work boots for my new job- also really needed help with gas. So then the advocap jobs- worker - told me to go to red cross - that she talked to the red cross and they would then give me a credit slip for bouts and gas.
Then I had to get my new employer to write a statement saying I needed boots- then go back to red cross the next day. I paid for my way over to red cross, and wasted time on my phone.
They cant see me until next week in the morning only-
Crazy - man - I will be at work- I told them all when I had to start work.
So take a day off of work to get boots or gas?
I start work on Monday- today is Thursday- I have only one more day to get my boots- I cant get them on Tuesday I will be at work- ! what@*?
They are paying the advocap employees- to do this type of bullsmit work.!

Jason, you'll probably never see this, but I totally agree with you that these agencies don't know their head from their a**. I've gotten the same run around and I'm to the point now, that I'm going to actually start doing something. These places like to make it look like they are doing so much for the poor community, but it's all just a smoke screen. They are of the same mindset as our Republican Party, and consider anyone in need as a, "freeloader," just wanting an, "entitlement." The harder they make it for someone to obtain welfare, the more likely people will give up, and then they save money or pocket it for themselves. Something definitely stinks with these organizations, because you can't tell me that that many people can't get their shi* straight. These are college graduates, some with masters I'm sure, yet they don't have enough common sense to come up with an efficient system? It's all a joke.
