I've had nothing but positive experiences with this store. The 2 owners were always pleasant, and knowledgeable about the animals and products that they carry.

My rats died about a week after getting them only rated like this so people can see, maybe if they separated males from females and didn't look so clustered inside it would be bett.er

Aquarium pets the best place to shop for animals I would recommend it to anyone who wants cheap affordable and healthy pets

such an amazing place!! when I got my first tank a year and a half ago in had no clue what i was doing but thanks to Jim i have four very healthy fish tanks all stocked with his fish. If I ever have any questions he is always willing to help. I have never met anyone as passionate about fish as the people who work there! Anyone who says he is in it for the money has no clue what they are talking about. Aquarium Pets is the only place i will ever go!

I'm so glad that oshkosh has a pet store that cares so much about their pets. I bought a guinea pig from him and before he would let me leave with the pet I had to buy vital vitamins and food....where my mother bought hers from pet Co and they didn't even tell her that they don't produce vitamin c so they need special drops and hers ended up dying a few months later.....I would recommend them to anyone....they really do care! They r also very helpful and even if she is helping you he always says hi! I will be a loyal customer for as long as I have pets!

I recommend Aquarium Pets to anyone who is looking for high quality at an affordable price. The people working here are very knowledgeable and always willing to answer your questions and help out.

We have been customers of theirs for many years. Jim is very helpful. They tell you the truth, always available to annswer questions, and know the products they sell. When we have pet questions we always call them. Pets they sell are healthy and we are always know exactly how to take care of them before we leave the store. They love what they do and it shows.

I agree with other individuals posts, not friendly, not helpful, not passionate about what they are selling. If you want friendly customer service and what to talk fish with someone passionate about keeping tanks travel down to Fond du Lac, stay away from this (to quote another post) middle class guy trying to make it and his female side kick.

Have you ever worked in a pet store? It is a challenge keeping one pet alive, they keep thousands alive on a daily basis, they are not just about the money, it is a business yes, they are in it to make money, but they also love animals and know exactly what to do with them. If you argue against a professional in their field you are probably going to get put down. You probably didn't like the advice he gave you and took it ad an insult. Have fun when your fish are belly up. Protocols keep fish alive not complaining and whining.

DO NOT GO HERE this guy is the worst business man in town. All he cares about is your money and once the fish leaves the store he dosent care to help. If you call and ask him a simple question he treats you like a idiot. We don't even bother taken are money to them anymore from there horrible customer service. I know a lot more people that have had the same experience there and would rather travel up to Appleton or down to fond du lac before giving 1 dollar to aquarium pets. The girl is the only nice person in the store that actual helps but the guy has NO manners and needs to learn how to respect the customer and not just there $

For you IDIOTS who said,"He's in it for the money," no, he's not. The guys middle-class, hurtin like everyone else in this ongoing recession. Im simply befuddled at the fact that you would go and talk crap about a guy cause you didn't get your little refund. FYI, that guy didn't kill your fish, YOU did! You expect to get a refund on fish that you forgot to feed. Woops, there I went makin assumptions, just like you did. So next time, get your facts straight bub. Don't go ramblin about a store that is practicly non-profited. "Oh, Petco is so great." No, they have empty tanks with miserable fish. So there ya have it, friendly service my tush! Aquarium Pets has workers that know what they're talking about. They have 80 hour weeks, and 2 of them, 2 I say, run the whole store. So while your layin in your livin room snackin on sometin your mom made for ya, there workin there butts off for others, not because they had to, because the wanted to.

Okay here's the senario I am thirteen and have a 55gal fish tank and have a plan on how to fill the tank. So when I found out the the fish store here would ship the Gold and Blue rams I so wanted I was extatic. When I went there on march 7th of '09 to preorder the fish 3gold and 1blue. The man I believe was the manager was very unsocial and snippy and was trying to rush me through. The total was $32 and they would be coming in on March 10. When I got them they were in a box. They had been in the box since 11am that morning not including shipping time. When they were home they were very sad looking and I have rams already and I put them in their seperate tank with the exact paraments as my other rams and the FIRST NIGHT of having them two golds died ant the other two are doing good. I went to ask about some kind of refund or something and he was very rude and told me he has NO WARRANTY ON ANY OF HIS FISH. His fish are in poor condition. He isn't very pleasant and very rude and will not listen to what I had to say and he just kept cuting me off to tell me that I probably did something wrong when I already have 3 very healthy bolivian rams, 2 german rams and 6 angels they are all very healthy and I have had the same paraments as I had when I move to Fond Du Lac almost a year ago. He also has fish that have drawings on them(that should be illegale it hurts the fish's health greatly). In all he is very rude and his fish are in poor condition and he is just in it for the money and has no respect for his costumer (or atleast the younger ones and their parents i.e. my mother) or his fish. I will not and hope you head my warning of this place and do not go there.
