Attorney Charles E. Williams has over 36 years experience in private law practice. He has handled cases in most areas of the law and concentrates his practice in estate planning, real estate, probate, personal injury and business law. He is a third generation attorney in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where his great uncle and grandfather began a law practice in 1895. Charles is a graduate of University of Colorado at Boulder (B.A. History) and received his law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison. He is a founding member of the Winnebagoland Estate Planning Council and Wisconsin Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. He is also past President of the Wisconsin Council of Estate Planning Attorneys, and has been a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and Wealth Counsel. He serves on the board of Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation, Inc. and is also licensed as a Wisconsin Real Estate Broker. He served as plaintiffs' attorney in a personal injury/wrongful death/products liability/premises liability case published in the Wisconsin Law Journal (Feb. 2004) entitled "Top Settlement For 2003." He has three sons and enjoys boating, skiing, travel, history, family and coaching his sons basketball team. He believes estate planning is one of the most important things a person should do for themselves and their loved ones.
