Pete’s how do I say this.. slow. Had some guy with him that seemed to have no idea what he was doing. Left on lunch and came back smelling like A Marley concert was going on in his van. Thought he was slick. Work on my house like that? Not happening buddy. Guys a complete joke.

Pete had done work for us on several occasions and it was always prompt,reasonable,and professional. I shopped for 2 years for windows and could have saved a lot of time if I had called Pete first. He always does everything he says he will and more. He pointed out things that lesser contractors would hope you wouldn't see and fixes them--often at no charge. There are no surprises with Pete and he always gives you 110%. I have given his number to many of my neighbors with no worries whatsoever--they noticed how good of a job he did as well. Personally, I couldn't be happier that such a big job/worry is now done--and done in an excellent manner. If anyone reading this is on the fence, do yourself a favor and hire Pete Lostumbo--you will not regret it. Excellent service/ price and the quality is outstanding. It is very refreshing to find a true professional today that gives you your moneys worth. I'll need a new roof soon--guess who I am hiring?

The wind had blown some siding partially off our 2 story house - up too high for us to even thnk about fixing ourselves. I called Exterior Finish and talked to Pete. He showed up the next day, on time, assessed the job, wrote me a very resonable estimate and fixed it right then and there. He said it would take about an hour and it did. He was nice enough to bring his ladder into our cluttered garage to help me reach a new piece of siding stored on a high shelf. When he was done he walked around my whole house, found 2 more spots where we hadn't even noticed the siding was coming off, and fixed them too at no extra charge. Pete is down to earth, hard working and honest. I would hire him again in a heartbeat, and recommend him to anyone who asked.

My mother hired Pete to reside her garage, new gutters, and to hang a new door. Pete was wonderful! He showed up when he said he would (a few others my mom had hired previous to this for other work did not), he finished the project when he said he would (very fast) and his work is quality!! He did a beautiful job!! He also is very reasonable in his pricing.....when my mom decided on a premium color for the siding over the standard he even gave her a discounted rate from the set pricing for it. And as my mother said "he's such a NICE guy too!!" I would recommend Pete to any and everyone...a very professional and great guy!! Thanks PETE!

Thanks, Pete, for a job well done and timely, too!We had melted a small section (well, maybe not small!) of siding with our our new overly powerful gas grill.Pete matched the whole wall, saving some of the pieces to repair the dents and other damage around the house.It was done very professionally, and quickly.Very good! 5 thumbs up!

We had some work done in the fall of 2009. Our front exterior was in need of repair/replacement. Pete did an awesome job! He has a great work ethic, which we all appreciate. He did quality work, was reliable and very courteous. We also needed some work done on the framing of our garage door. Pete suggested capping it with aluminum...which turned out great. No maintenance, and it looks wonderful. We recommended Pete to our family and neighbors. He did some repair work on my parent's wood/fiberglass exterior door and sidelights (wood frame). They were thrilled with his work.

Pete replaced all the windows(19)in our two-story home. The quality of work and professionalism were second to none! We were extremely happy with the end results and would recommend Pete to anyone. Pete is very good at explaining the project and the process needed to get the work done. He goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and he provides exactly what the customer wants. We used Pete from Exterior Finish to install new windows for our entire home. Pete's process to the project was fantastic...from the initial conversations/pricing to the completed work to his personal follow up. Pete really takes the time to understand what the customer wants. His craftmanship is second to none and he is willing to go the extra mile to do the job correctly and safely the first time. We were so pleased with Pete's work on the windows, we had him come back and replace our skylights. I hired Mr Lostumbo to replace the windows in my house and was very happy. Admittedly, I am very distrustful of workers for a long history of reasons. He came out and gave an estimate that was very reasonable, that made me even more wary of the sneak attack but I cautiously used him anyway. Pete came to my house and was very polite to my family and professional. Bottom line: His work was not just good but was AMAZING. He found problems within my wall that he could have easily covered up and I never would have known about. He showed me rot that had occurred from my old, poor quality windows, which was so severe that it looked like wet, fire damage. Instead of simply putting in the windows as he was paid to do, he ensured it was done right for the long run and replaced the rotted framework and added new insulation. Most shocking was this was done at no extra cost to me! He was extremely detail oriented and took pride in Every Step of the project. His finished work was a work of

Pete recently completed gutting and totally remodeling my bathroom off of my family room which was covered in mold and outdated. He safely removed all materials..even the bathtub which was replaced with a custom made ceramic tile spa-like walk in shower. Everything ran smoothly and without a hitch and the end result is beautiful and I am more than satisfied. The tile was done perfectly and with quality of work always uppermost in his mind. It was all completed in a timely fashion and he was always here when he said he would be and ready to work. After the bathroom was done I also had him do some custom trim work in the family room as well. New railings,brackets,new ledge and chair rail. It is perfect as well and done in 1 day. I highly recommend Pete at Exterior Finish, Inc. and just can't say enough about his workmanship, ease to work with,price,etc. When time and budget allows I will be sure to have him return for some remodeling in my kitchen that needs to be done.

I had a custom shed built next to my garden by Pete of Exterior Finish and my garage totally stripped down to the frame and rebuilt - together they are the best feature on my property (and in my opinion, in my neighborhood). Pete is honest, reliable and tells it like it is. I really liked him and feel that I got exactly what I paid for. Which is important in this economy! The work is beautiful, he's a perfectionist. I really like the fact that Pete does all his work himself. He doesn't just sell the work and send out a crew - he's the principal on the project from beginning to end.
