Jpro did an excellent job repairing our g.e stack washer dryer, Two other repair guys we called refused to work on it because of space constraints. Jpro knew the unit well enough to repwir it without having to move it out of the space it was in and it was more than affordable in the end compared with the other guys we called. Highly reccomended!

Pretty surprised by these reviews, seem personal. I didn't know James when he was 10 and most likely wouldn't even comment on if I did, not sure what that has to do with anything. I can only comment on the work he has done for me, and at my suggestions a number of family and friends' home s as well. I trust him, he's earned it, from coming out in a flash, picking up products to installing them without issue. He once spent over 4 hours working on my furnace (which turned out to be gone-20+ years old). He recently put in a water heater , and I'll call him for any repair work if I need it done. His prices are completely competitive, and never once has he worked for an hour and asked for money?? I appreciate the work he does and hope that he stays in business for a long time.

After ten years in the business i have some advice for any person out there that decides to muster up the courage to take your fate into your own hands and offer up your god given talents to the world to make a living. Rule #1. Never have a personal disagreement with ANYONE be they work related or otherwise because unfortunately anyone with a half a brain and a computer who wants to RUIN you can jump on these websites and accuse you of being everything but a child molester to hurt you and your business as revenge for whatever. You will notice that certain websites , the ones who actually care about presenting accurate information on the businesses they review screen and filter reviews that are from duplicate reviewers and people who write reviews that attack you personally instead of a review that is relevant to a specific experience they had with said company. Its one thing to say that someone ripped you off or did bad work and entirely another to call you a thief and a drug addict or a quote " douchebag". Kudos to these websites that take steps to provide the public with accurate information. I wonder what kind of person would believe that a company would take and old furnace, wrap it in a new outer shell and sell it as new or what person would be too stupid to notice that the furnace wasnt new after it was installed, the answer? No one , because its a lie that somebody with a personal hard on for me and my business put online to try and ruin me. I would never personally EVER deprive somebody of theyre ability to make a living or feed theyre families but i guess not everybody shares the same sense of honor. I know exactly who you are and why you are doing this and is a lousy fifty dollars that you didnt really earn justify trying to destroy my ability to make a living? Didnt you make enough money off of all the other things i did for people you knew? Did i ever ask you for money for referals i sent your way? Dont you understand that i cannot work for someone who tampers with my work after i leave the job? What you are doing isnt right and it isnt fair and i believe you may actually be breaking the law by writing these fabricated reviews, i may actually be speaking to a lawyer about it if it continues. Maybe you will cease and decist if you come to find out that what you are doing is illegal and might wind up costing you money like you are costing me.

Alright - so I haven't had the privilege of knowing James for any amount of time, so you can trust that this review is completely objective.



He was referred to me for his price. I was in the market for a new A/C and furnace and his price is definitely the lowest. Be warned now, you are better off paying 75-100% more and getting a professional installation; you will pay this "discount" back later in frustration, unnecessary service calls which also include the embarrassing conversations you'll have to have with professional installers who you're asking to improve the system.



James said the install would take 1 day. It took four days. He shows up two weeks after the agreed upon installation date. His "helper" didn't show up. The tear-out was horrible, the installation was worse. I had to drive over 30 miles round-trip to buy the T-stat. The sheet metal work....well let's just say I couldn't keep a straight face when I saw it. This is no joke; my neighbors were laughing as they watched him bend all the sheet metal over my front stoop! You can only imagine how it looks. There is still a string of spaghetti signal/power wire haning down in my basement after 7 months.



When he shows up, it's at 11:00 a.m. after you agreed 7:00a.m. or 8:00 a.m. He works for 1-2 hours and then asks for some money (I gave him half down which more than covered the equipment). We end up arguing the third day about money (seriously? who has the gall to ask for money when a job isn't even close to being done?). Probably wanted the drugs the other guy was talking about.



James - you should understand that my final motivation for writing this was you not returning my messages and the absolute deplorable installation that was done (I seriously think I could have done a better job). That's right, I've been calling and calling trying to get the unit serviced and of course you don't call back. It's unfortunate, man but it's all on your shoulders. I wish this could have been a positive review as I like helping people out; throwing them a bone. Get out of the business, because word of mouth travels fast.

I am the owner of the business mentioned here and these reviews are a complete fabrication written by a former business aquaintence of mine. Notice the similarities in all of these reviews and that the person claims to know me personally and that i steal things and do drugs and every extremely bad thing that they could possibly come up with. Its pretty odvious that this is a person with a personal vendetta against me and i have already had several of these reviews removed because they violate the terms and conditions of the sites they are posted on. This one about the supposed rattleing washing machine and the a.c board, considering air conditioners dont have circuit boards its pretty odvious to anyone who knows anything about appliances that this review is a fabrication. One of these reviews claims im a petty thief and that money dissapeared off someones table while i was working in theyre house. Ive been around the block with my business, done thousands and thousands of service calls for policeman, lawyers, doctors and people from all walks of life, if i did the things that these bogus reviews accuse me of i wouldnt have a business anymore and id have been locked up in jail a long time ago. I used to think that if you did the right things in life and you were honest and hardworking that the people you worked for would say good things about you and you would never have to worry about your online reputation and i guess i was wrong. Now i see why there are companies like reputation defender, firms that remove bad reviews from people like this who try to destroy other peoples business. I no longer have faith in these online reviews for any business because any jerk with an axe to grind is allowed to get online and defame anothers character and it is not fair. I would be happy to provide references to anybody whos on the fence about hiring us due to these bogus reviews. I have always gone above and beyond the call of duty to resolve any grievences anyone has with our work. I have many authentic reliable reviews on other websites. These reviews are lies and hopefully the owners of the sites they are on will remove them.

BEFORE YOU THINK TO HIRE THIS MAN HEAR WHAT I HAVE TO SHARE WITH YOU. PAY ATTENTION TO THESE FACTS. Jpro is not a family business. It is just one young man who has had issues for many years. I have known Jim, the owner since he was 10 years old. That was about 18 years ago. He was the only kid I ever banned from my house. My house backs up to a very nice wooded park. I was glad to be the go to place for all the kids. As it turned out,, a few years later, I was alerted by some of the kids that he had brought marijauna into my yard and even my house, offering to sell it to the other kids there, even my daughter and her friends who were only 9 and 10 at that time. I should have called the police, but I didn't. I told him to get out and never come back. On his way out he snatched my wifes' purse. He almost got away with it but as he drove off on his bike it fell out from under his shirt. He was not popular at all and I had felt sorry for him. No way I can forgive the drgs or the stealing though. In any case I ran into him 2 years ago anf he said he was off the drugs, had cleaned himself up and was doing HVAC work and appliance repair. He looked horrible and I still felt some sympathy for him. So, I gave him some jobs to do. BIG MISTAKE. He is incompetent. He has pulled every shortcut and his indifference to the needs of other people has endangered their lives. I have found him leaving gas lines leaking and furnaces he installed not working. He just will not return to correct his mistakes, He had the audacity to offer me a kickback and was bragging to me when I first started giving him some jobs to do how he makes a ton of money by taking out expensive parts like control boards and blower motors, parts that are working fine, or at worst only need a few cheap parts to be perfectly functional again, and then selling those parts to the next customer. The homeowner whose parts he basically steals then gets to buy a new one at a great price of course. A part taken from someone else naturally.He was so proud of himself as he thought I was being impressed by his continued dishonesty. He seems to have the scam working real good. Sure he sells parts cheap. He has literally gotten them for nothing or next to it. When he told me this, I checked back where I had sent him and he had indeed scammed my customers. I took care of the leaking gas lines, bad electrical connections, poorly connected ductwork, unstable humidifiers, and replaced the pilot assemblies at my expense because I care about my customers. I WOULD NEVER USE OR TRUST JIM / JPRO AGAIN. FURTHERMORE, AND THE LAST STRAW, WAS WHEN HE CAME TO WORK AT MY DAUGHTERS' HOUSE STONED. ALERTED BY HER ROOMATES, I DROVE THERE AND HE WAS SITTING IN HIS TRUCK SMOKING ANOTHER JOINT WHILE HER ROOMATES WERE FREEZING WITH THE FURNACE HALF DISASSEMBLED. THATS' THE LAST TIME I SAW THIS INCOMPETENT, DISHONEST AND DISGUSTING PERSON. IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO CHECK THE CRIMINAL RECORDS AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSES.

DOES INCOMPETENT WORK. REPLACED PARTS THAT WERE NOT NEEDED. WILL NOT RETURN OR ANSWER CALLS.

Our washer was making a grinding noise. Jpro sold us a new pump. The noise remained. The cause was a simple roller guide needed tightening. The pump Jpro sold us was rusty, and obviously used and it leaked. We did not see him install it but saw it coming out. The second man knew of Jpro when we mentioned the name and he asked us to be there when he opened the machine. He simply tightened a roller guide he said all repairmen know to do and the noise went right away. The pump Jpro installed was leaking though, and not the right specs. We had to buy a new pump. The AC control board Jpro installed was not the problem either. There was a faulty relay. With a new relay and the replaced board the AC still did not cycle right. With a proper board and that new relay the AC was fine. For proof, the second tech reinstalled the defective relay and the problem reappeared. Therefore, our original board was fine . The board Jpro installed was not even the same manufacturer and not capable of working with our 95% efficiency unit as it was. The control board he put in was also not new. It was very dusty and grimy, and no way it came from our furnace unit. We cant even file complaints as Jpro took off with our original and good working parts.
