Putnam County Sheriff s Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that protects life and property and enforces laws. The department undertakes various criminal cases and works with state, local and federal agencies in the exchange of information to the public. It maintains a staff of more than 5o full-time employees, over 15 civilian part-time employees and nearly 20 part-time auxiliary employees.
