miserable place.



I was in there applying recently & the staffing coordinators were making fun of the people calling in looking for work.



They were saying things like, "Why do they keep calling asking for a job? They have no bills. They live with their parents."

Very unprofessional, uncourteous and deceitful. They've made the claim that they do site checks to ensure the saftey of the employee's it deploys to various sites. However, if and when they do, it's to the extent of the front office which is air conditioned.



What they failed to do is, in the midst of a heat wave ensure that the companies that are paying hefty salaries for which the employee see's a small portion of is to make sure there was adequate hydration and breaks. A family memeber had severe heat exhaustion working in 242 degree heat within a facilty.



The icing was the call when the employee did not return, the manager called the family with a tone as if they should have had a debt of gratitude for ensuring employment of that individual.



In reality, no amount of money (especially not 11.00@hr) is worth risking heat stroke and possibly death for.



If I could give a negative star I would.

i MOVED HERE 3 MONTHS AGO AND STILL CANT FIND WORK, SO I TRIED THIS STAFFING THING I HAD NO CLUE ABOUT TEMP AGENCIES , I NEVER HAD TO USE THEM BEFORE, SO WHEN I CALLED THE ONE IN RAYTOWN AND ASKED WHAT I NEEDED TO DO THEY WERE SO RUDE TO ME AND DIDNT GIVE ME ANY INFO TO GO BY OR WHAT STEPS NEEDED TO BE MADE. THANKS GUYS

My company just recently started doing business with A-1 STAFFING and they have provided the best customer service to me more than any other staffing company that comes though my door, and I get a lot of them. They had an attention to detail and a responsiveness in their customer service style that I haven't seen from any vendor in a long time. We took on 3 new employees through A-1 and I am sure that they will be who we call in the future!

They seem never to have any work for the people that have already applied. You can go there if you want but it will be a waiste of your time. They have lost several of their big accounts including InkCycle. I am not sure what they do. They should not be on the web as they can not supply jobs for the workers that they have. You call and they say they will put you on an available list and that is all you ever hear... a complete waiste of time.
