I had never been to a chiropractor before and randomly ran into the Active Health Solutions tent after a 5k. I had numbness in a portion of my foot for about a month, no pain, but knew it wasn't right. Dr. Cotter diagnosed me with a pinched nerve from a kickboxing class. We did several techniques to relieve the nerve and I regained feeling in my foot! I also have scoliosis and have back spasms at times from it. We used a couple different techniques to alleviate a constant knot in my back that would trigger the spasms. I can say it is gone and if it does pop up I just quickly pop in to see Dr. Cotter to get it worked out. They are flexible with your schedule and always professional. I have sent a few friends there who were also pleased with their service.

I have had a lower back issue for several years now. The pain would flair up every once and a while and I would never get the relief I needed. I was referred to Active Health Solutions by a friend. I met with Dr. Cotter and he diagnosed my issue as a bulging disc. He gave me a thorough exam that determined the issue. He gave me several exercises to do, to alleviate the pain. He was the first person to correctly diagnose the problem and give me exercises and stretches to fix the problem. He has done minimal adjustments which I like. His philosophy is there are other ways of dealing with pain beyond only doing adjustments.



I'm a personal trainer and have referred several of my clients to Dr. Cotter and they have all had positive results from his treatments. Me and my clients all like his attitude and his approach to healing and feeling better!

I've been to several different chiropractors over the years, but Active Health Solutions is one of my favorites!



The staff is very kind and accommodating. I've called the morning of for an emergency appointment and they were able to fit me in that day. They are also very honest, and only treat me for as long as I need it. They earnestly want you to get better and don't try to talk you into extra appointments, which is something I greatly appreciate.



Regarding actual service, Dr. Tom is a miracle worker. I had a chronic pain in my knee for several years, but after a couple appointments with Dr. Tom, it is completely gone. The pain was from an injury in high school and I thought it was something I just had to learn to live with. Being able to move it without pain or stiffness is incredible. He's also treated my back when I have pulled it (and like I said, fit me in the day of!) and really emphasizes different stretches and exercises I can do at home to strengthen legs to prevent future injuries.



These guys genuinely want you to get better, and I recommend them to everyone I know.

These doctors are great!! They spend the time to locate the specific cause of each patient's problem, and go beyond conventional Chiropractic while using many different techniques for treatment. If my mother lived closer, I would send her to Active Health Solutions for her neck pain!

They're really unlike any other chiropractors. If you're expecting a "whack-em, crack-em" type of chiropractor, these guys are not them. They actually spend time with you, figure out the main cause of your problem, and help you stay accountable for keeping yourself healthy. I'd recommend them to anyone.
