Mace is one of the best in the business. Body Art has been the only place I've been tattooed for years. Other people's work just doesn't stand up to Mace's work. I've referred lots of friends to Body Art and will continue to do so!!

I got my first tattoo here, it was a yin yang on my forearm. It was done by Mace. He was very friendly and professional. I will be definitely be returning to get more tattoos in the future.

Over the past 8 years I've gone exclusively to Body Art, Inc. for my work. Mace custom designs all of my tattoos and his flash work off the walls is excellent. Compared to many of the other shops around in KC and in the Johnson County area I find his cost to be very reasonable for the art and service he provides. I've had over 30 hours of work done and receive many complements on my tattoos. I've even brought my Uncles and Father in law there for tattoos. In a nutshell- Great guy, great tattoos, excellent attention to detail in a clean location and very professional.

You can get a tattoo anywhere, but if you want artwork you need to see Mace. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Words cannot express how much I trust Mace and the guys at Body Art. Mace has personally done 3 jobs for me now including two large pieces and I get compliments on them constantly. I have been to other shops and none strike me as clean, friendly and comfortable. Body Art is the group you should be measuring off of. For me I will never use anyone else nor refer anyone to any other place.

I have gotten all 7 of my tattoos at body art inc. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Mace's attention to detail and eye for color is absolutely amazing. I have given him free range to create any masterpiece because I know it'll look amazing no matter what. He knows his customers and can vision exactly what they want.

Mace has very intricate and ornate designs. I like the subtleties in his shading and use of color. I respect and appreciate him for turning away clients that requested racist tatts. Immaculately clean shop and a artist/owner who is passionate about his work.

When looking for a tattoo artist I would suggest many things. Look for clean, licensed, history with other clientele. In all business you can ask for references. In this business it seems to be a fly by night for the clientele. A client walks into a tattoo parlor with an idea you hope that the artist you encounter can take it to the next level. I believe that Mace Arnold is that man. I have had several tattoos done in his office and if I "EVER" needed a correction or a fix he has "ALWAYS" been willing to help. He has a talent for taking a tattoo to the next level. He does not suggest that you get it done "RIGHT NOW" that my friend is "YOUR" choice. I have found that I give my deposit and let him draw up the design and then "WE" change the design to what I perceive it to be and he lets you know if it will work or not. I have had several ideas that once he created them did not work for him or me. I believe you must "trust" the artist you choose. I trust Mace Arnold with design, execution and artistic talent.

This place has the most talented artists. Esp. the owner Mace. It is amazing the work that comes out of here. Only place I would go and trust.

Mace is the only tattoo artist I use, I have several complex pieces and he is always timely, professional, easy to work with and creative. I highly recommend him, in fact I have many friends who have also gone to Mace. We are all so happy with our ink!

My brother had a tattoo on his shoulder done by a novice. Mace fixed it and made it look amazing. My brother and I didn't think it could be done, but Mace worked a miracle. The tattoo looks great, it has great lines and definition. It looks like a piece of art now, it used to look like a childish done blob. I am definitely getting a tat from Mace. He is the only one I will let work on me. His place is clean, neat and comfortable. He is patient and calming.

I would not go there again! My first tattoo that was 2 words and Mace said he knew what kind of script I wanted and was not nice at all. When he was done, it looked like a first grader had written it and it is heavy in black in parts and light in other parts. They are now blending together. I have been told they will blend together now that I found an awesome artist who has since done several tattoo's on me. Nothing can be done unless I want to spend the money and have it removed or go over it which it is on my wrist. Thank God for my new guy!

Sean was very knowledgeable and kind. This was my first time and he never seemed bothered when i started asking 50 million questions. He was finishing up a customer before me and he even mopped the floor after he was done. He explained everything for me and what to expect as it healed. My tatoo is very detailed and it came out even better than I had expected. He showed great care in making sure that it looked good and the place was correct and where I wanted it. I would highly recommend them.
