The technical representative Steven called us early this day to confirm our appointment time, and he showed at exactly that time. He disassembled our 60 inch Samsung, and made repairs and was completed within a 90 minute window. He has left our home now, the TV is like new - I for sure will provide this company's name and phone number to family and friends. Awesome company.

Our TV is having a warranty sound issue, so we asked our warranty company to locate a local repair company. The company the contacted, Overland TV, called us pretty quickly, next day in fact, and we agreed to a time in the late afternoon today, Wednesday, after 4pm, that they would come to our home and look over the TV to see if it could be repaired. My boyfriend was to take time off to be home for their visit.

Let's make this clear - my boyfriend burned VACATION time, to stay home to meet this guy around 4pm on a weekday, because these guys "don't do weekends".

Apparently, sometime around 10am, they called and left a message that they'd had some cancellations this morning, please give us a call, and we might be able to come out even earlier. My boyfriend didn't hear the phone, and didn't think to check for any messages - the agreed time is sometime after 4pm, so he's not expecting a call about an earlier time. He's busy doing stuff around the house. Four o'clock rolls around...my boyfriend checks his phone to make sure he hasn't missed a call from the repair guys to let them in - and sees there's a voice mail with the 10am message. So he calls Overland TV back just to check in with them, and maybe get a finer time frame that they're coming by at this point. "Oh, you should have called us back. We booked over your 4pm appointment and the rest of the day since you didn't call us back. We're not coming. What's another day during the week we can schedule for?"

Wait, whaaaa?! Who DOES that? "Hey, we might have earlier times available than our arranged upon time frame that you've taken off of work for, would you like one? Oh, you're not available at these earlier times? Hey, we'll just cancel your appointment ENTIRELY and NOT CALL YOU TO LET YOU KNOW." Who the heck cancels your appointment time, because you didn't call back to take an earlier time (for THEIR convenience, not yours), and who in their RIGHT MIND doesn't have the COURTESY to let you KNOW they cancelled your appointment?!

"Well, you should've call us back. Your girlfriend said you were going to be there all day." My agreement with them on the phone was not "for all day". I told them 4pm was fine, and if there was a conflict, I'll call them back and reschedule.

My boyfriend told them that he wasn't able to burn another day off to meet them at this point. Basically they told him, "too bad!" and told him to call him back if that changed. Uh, no. We're not taking more time off so they can randomly cancel without telling us again, and then act like it's no big deal. We called back our warranty company and reported what happened, and asked for them to locate another company, with weekend availability, since we don't have an extra day available anymore.

TL;DR : This company doesn't want your business, doesn't understand the basics of scheduling, doesn't understand basic customer service, and doesn't understand that your time is just as precious as theirs. People taking time off work to meet with them is a big deal, but evidently, that's not a a real concern for them. Since that's isn't a concern, but they're shy about sharing that - I'm a helpful gal, I'll share it for them!

Fast Service - I called one da...

Fast Service - I called one day & they were there the next day. I described the problem I was having when I contacted them, and they were able to repair my 55" Mitsubishi HDTV Big Screen television within 45 minutes of arrival. The serviceman was very professional and helpful. Before he left, I was able to receive HD channels through my antenna (I had not used this feature before). He also made certain that my dvd/vhs player was hooked up correctly (Prior to his arrival, I could not get it to work as I had deleted the programming). I was very pleased with the service I received and the price was very reasonable. It was well worth the money spent, not to mention that I will get another 10+ years out of my television. I would recommend OverlandTV for all your television repair!

I called to get my big screen TV fixed in fear of what it would cost and how long it would take. John, the service repairman was here within 24 hours, fixed my problem for less than $200, cleaned up the inside of the TV and I am back in business and the TV picture is better than before. He told me my TV was good for another 10 years with minor repairs; I didn't expect honesty and fair prices with a 10-year old TV! I am very pleasantly surprised and would call them again for all my TV repairs.

Excellent service

I called on Monday with a problem on my LG television and was able to schedule a service call for the next day! The office girls were very pleasant and helpful. The technician arrived on time with all the parts required to repair my television in one trip and was very professional. He was also quite knowledgeable and was even able to show me how to work features I didn't know I had. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or to use them again.
