Victory Martial Arts in Oviedo is a real gem, a world-class institution. If you’re looking for martial arts training, I would highly encourage you to look first at VMA. The community that Mr Benitez, Mr Haymon & Mr Young has cultivated is strong, good-hearted, and welcoming to absolutely anyone. These men are very courteous and very professional. Our son has been attending classes here for only a year yet he has gained great skills and confidence already. Before our son barely spoke to anybody but now he is completely changed! He is very confident and his low self-esteem is gone and had been winning 1st place in the tournaments. He LOVE his classes sooo much! VMA is a great place for a child not just to be physically involved in a martial art but also to learn values and morals that are important in everyday life. Plus, the classes here are FUN! Thanks to Mr. Benitez, Mr. Haymon and Mr. Young. Not going anywhere this is our second home.

I'd like to start out by saying the instructor my son had, Mr. Boden, was FANTASTIC. Also, I think their curriculum is pretty great. However, the high pressure sales tactics have GOT TO GO. Last I checked I wasn't buying a car. Every time I've been in here someone has pulled me aside to try to sell me a long contracted plan... at a pretty high rate. They use the "running out of time" sales tactic and put a lot of pressure on the parent. Personally, as someone with high anxiety I'm not even sure I'm going to continue out the rest of the promotional package I purchased for my son to begin with because going in there makes me so uncomfortable.

Admittedly it is in my opinion shamelessly expensive and you may have to ask to make sure you understand the fees... but don't be fooled, all Martial Arts places are! With Mrs. Catlin, Haymon, and Bowden they are a star team! I am proud to have my son learning from them! It's not just martial arts but focus, leadership, responsibility, and so much more.

Save your money. They will not teach your kids martial arts. They will quote you a price but it will end up being almost double that. They will not let you out of your contract when you figure it out. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
