Karen is a FABULOUS CPA. Do you know she has never lost an audit? She passed the CPA exam right out of college on her first try. Even though she is a life-long friend of mine, I did not have her do my taxes, not wanting to mix business and friendship. That changed about 25 years ago when I told her what I was paying in taxes. I hired a professional bookkeeper, but not a CPA. Karen said she thought I was paying way too much. When she re-did my taxes that year I got a HUGE refund. She's been doing my taxes ever since. I have known Karen Barbour both professionally and personally for over 20 years. She has handled my business and personal taxes since then. She is courteous and professional and knowledgeable in her field. I was referred to her and have been her client since. I have also referred friends and family to her and they have also become her clients. I have gotten to know her over the years on a personal level as well and we have become friends and as a friend, you can't ask for better. She will go out of her way to resolve any issues with bookkeeping, accounting, payroll taxes, IRS issues, etc. The day Karen retires, we will probably retire as well because we wouldn't trust our books with anyone else.
