Founded in 1982, the Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center is a nonprofit organization that offers accommodation, conference, meeting and banquet spaces. The center hosts weddings, seminars, retreats and workshops for more than 150 people. It offers microphones, overhead projectors, screens, easels with papers and markers and portable stereos in its conference rooms. The Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center also organizes outside activities, including canoes, pedal boating, fishing and volleyball. The center has a shop that provides Christian religious books, music and gift items, cards and jewelry. It additionally offers personal growth retreats for individuals and couples. The center is affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida. The Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center is a handicapped-accessible facility located in Oviedo, Fla.
