I recently had a VCT Floor installed by Metro Flooring. After spending $6,300 on my home garage, once the job was completed the floor was dull looked dirty and was matted with no gloss finish. Then I made a complaint to Tony which he mentioned it was a protector coat that had to be removed and the shine will be under that. When I informed the installer he laughed and said there was no such thing. Tony informed me that I had to find a janitor service so they can wax and polish the floor. I explained to Tony this is his responsibility to deliver a finished product he referred a janitor company. The floor then looked worst then before After hiring the second company who charged me $850 now the cost is a grand total is over $7,000! Finally after 2 different professional opinions I was informed that the VCT Floor was improperly installed. I was told that when they did the prep work, corners were cut prior to installation the floor should have been scrapped and sanded, to remove gray paint underneath. As a result of this not being done prior to installation the adhesive used created a chemical reaction causing it to pop up once the weight of the car was place on it due to the lack of adhesive. Basically not having enough glue and the chemical reaction caused the VCT Tiles to pop up a few inches on my $7,000 flooring. Tony from Metro Flooring informed me that the VCT flooring looks like this because water was applied. The floor installed should have been waterproof, you would think a garage flooring would be waterproof. I made a complaint to Tony regarding the flooring and was told that the product and installation was done correctly and looked great. I completely disagree. I feel ripped off but I had it redone but a reputable company from Miami.

Metro Flooring came out to measure and sent my estimates. I asked questions about the estimates and never heard back from the company. Would not recommend.
