STAY AWAY!! Horrible customer service and lackluster facility!! Let's talk about the customer service first...



Was quoted one price on the phone by employee A. Went in to sign up for quoted package and was told by employee B that the package I was quoted doesn't exist and I had to pay $10 more per month for the exact package. When I mistakenly decided to sign up anyway, employee A went ahead and charged my card BEFORE telling me about the mandatory $25 "membership enrollment" (which applies to all packages, regardless of the advertised price).



Against my better judgement, I signed up for what I was told was a 2-month contract. Turns out they signed me up for a month-to-month contract without my knowledge. Had I not physically gone in to cancel a contract I didn't think needed to be cancelled to begin with, it would still be drafting from my account.



When I voiced my frustrations to the store manager, she did nothing but cancel my contract--no apology, no "how can we make this better?" Actually, I take that back, she did throw her employees under the bus for her mismanagement. But I digress.



Now, about the facility. A long narrow line of tall cubicle walls with juuust enough room for a tanning bed and a purse. But a large tote won't do. In fact, there was no furniture at all but a tiny half-table, so small, in fact, that I had to pile my clothes on top of my squished purse so they wouldn't lay on the dusty concrete, which was adorned with a few bugs, but not even a rug.



There's also only one tiny towel in each room. No tanning pillow or multiple towels. Just one tiny, rough washcloth. There also isn't even a chair to sit or place any of your stuff. And forget about a mirror to check your post-tan hair or makeup! Just a poster telling you more of the great ways you can give At the Beach your money! (As if you weren't already aware by every employee trying to up sell you every time you walk in!)



In case you missed it, my conclusion is: STAY AWAY from At the Beach!! I will be.

My daughter bought me 2 months unlimited on the spray tan I have been going 3-4 - times a week and I am not tan!!! I have done this at other places and got a tan the first time. This was not cheap either. I don't recommend getting a spray tan here.

I absolutely love this place! Customer service and equipment is second to none. Amazing prices, products and people! If your in the area stop by and get your tan on for cheap!

Always super nice and friendly! They greet me by name everytime! They are never pushy about product but always recommends something to get me the best color possible!

The store is always very clean and I never have to wait on my bed.

I look forward to tanning at this location. Great atmosphere and service.

This is my favorite tanning salon in town. Hours are great and the beds are the best
