Keith gave us a primary bid and inflated the final price by $170 before completion. He would show up according to HIS schedule and he was never prepared with the right tools. Keith would use excuses like he left his tools at the last project. Keith had his assistant stain the deck and I was impressed with the stain work. But Keith, on the other hand, replaced several boards on the ramp of our deck but never showed me a receipt. I never received an invoice as promised...only a couple of lines in an email. Lastly and most importantly, when we personally inspected his work after said he was finished, we found some rotted boards that still needed replacing. and he made excuses saying that he used screws on his boards and that the squeaky existing boards were nailed and not screwed down. Keith continually asked to be paid yet never came back do finish the repairs. He made excuses constantly and always asked when he could get paid BEFORE the job was finished. When he was paid, he promised to come back to screw the rotted wood in place. Keith gave his word to my husband as he handed him the check...that HE would return the next day to make the original repairs. We never saw or heard from Keith again. He also insisted that I write the check to him personally and not to his company. Keith Morgan is a very dishonest man and I would NEVER recommend him to any future client. He was a real charmer. But doesn't keep his word!!!
