I am a chainsaw carver and use Stihl exclusively. I have done demonstrations at this location and purchased product as well. The people here are kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I really enjoy traveling to P&K, and would highly recommend them for all of your power & lawn equipment needs - especially Stihl!!

dont go here. sell youre john deer equipment and buy a different brand. I went to the Owasso branch and they sold me a NEW part that didn't work properly. the sleeve wasn't compressed all the way, but I had no idea for it was the first time I had ever bought one. I thought it ok because I didn't know any different. not only did I have to pay double in gas and spend 1 hour and 20 minutes on the road for two trips there and back, but I had to pay for the second because they wouldn't exchange the first one, that was defective, so everything I did that day cost me about $160 when it should have cost about $80. and they weren't very sympathetic at all. here is the real kicker, they told that I had to FIX THE PART that I just bought, brand new, before I could install and use it because the manufacturer sometimes didn't get the sleeve pushed in all the way.

this is not the only problem that ive heard about. there are others out there that ive heard from that were done wrong and im sure there are others that I haven't encountered.

then about two to three weeks later I go to their website, which isn't very user friendly, and spend about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to navigate through the website, to look for a starter for the same mower and about 30 minutes later I found a part number, the only part number available for that specific part. it was only about $53 which wasn't bad. so before I make another $20, 40 minute trip to Owasso I call to make sure they have that in stock. they fail to mention on the website that that part was remanufactured. THEY DONT EVEN CARRY that part, they had to order it or I could pay $83 for the john deere brand. cant find a corporate office anywhere and website has no comment section on the website, this is the only way I could find that I could let someone know how business is conducted in Owasso.

therefore after reading this long, but deserving, review you could probably come to the conclusion that I think they deserve no stars in this rating. but since I have to rate at least one, I will do so, but I oppose the star.

now I served 14 years in the army and honorably discharged as a sergeant and I have learned that you don't present a problem without a solution. my recommendation is that john deere should open other retail stores in larger areas other than Owasso, like maybe Tulsa for instance, and not be exclusive to p & k only. they should boost up their customer service, at least to satisfaction, and they would probably make a few more dollars. but that is just me.
