Rude, Poor Service

While my family and I drove cross country from Utah, we called in advance to inquire about checking in early. We were advised by Alyssa, a front desk agent, that as long as we arrived after midnight on the day of our check in, we would be able to check in early without paying extra. Upon arriving at 1 am, we were informed by Dolly Patel, the owner, that "Alyssa was wrong and it would cost us $69." She would not take ownership/responsibility of her employee's mistake nor apologized. After much discussion, Dolly Patel, said that she would just take it out of Alyssa's paycheck for the $69 room rate. We could not believe that she, as an owner/employer, would take it out on her employee in order to resolve a guest problem. There was never an apology nor a follow up from Dolly Patel.



While in line for the continental breakfast, we watched a housekeeping staff scoop up a full 12 oz cup of the gravy, which was for the biscuits, leaving paying hotel guests with none. This same housekeeping staff also helped herself to 8 mini chocolate donuts that she filled up in yet another styrofoam cup. We also had to wait for her to finish toasting her bagel before we could get to the toaster.



We will not be returning.
