We ended up staying here simply because we were traveling without reservations and there weren't any rooms in any of the chains for the last 50 miles. The rates were good, the room was clean and comfortable, and despite the bus stop, it was very quiet. Not only that, but the owners were wonderful people and very accommodating. Despite the fact that there is a "no pet" policy, they were very sympathetic to the fact that it was 1 am and we were traveling with pets and there weren't any other rooms to be had. For a very small and reasonable pet deposit, they allowed our pets to stay as well. There was a free continental breakfast that was very simple but fresh and much appreciated since it allowed us to get back on the road.

If I ever find myself in Owatonna again, will definitely take advantage of the hospitality at Oakdale Motel.

This motel was fantastic! The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was incredibly helpful and could not have been nicer. Not to mention that it is a great value for your money. If you need a place to stay in the Owatonna area, STAY HERE!!

I helped a family in need and got them a room at this hotel. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean even if it was outdated. Free breakfast in the morning. If you need a place to crash and dont want to spend around $100.00 a night. This is the place to stay.

When ever I'm traveling through Owatonna,Mn I head straight for the Oakdale Motel.I've stayed here many times over the years always to find my room in top condition & great service.The owners are the best ever they care about their guests making sure your stay is always comfortable & they never forget you & welcome your return.Thank you so much. I say to travelers need a great nights rest make it the Oakdale Motel

In Owatonna,MN is another GREAT place for one's money. Clean comfortable rooms with a very helpful and friendly staff.I always feel right at home there and for those who need groceries there is a Hy-Vee within walking distance as well as various pizza places.
