Our food was excellent...being Italian their pasta fagioli was perfect. We found their entrees were tasty and appetizing. Great deli, great food!

Six of neighbors from The Villages, FL visited Gio's for what should have been a great meal. One man's soup, Pasta Figioli, was a bowl of thick unappetizing and uneatable wall paper paste. It was sent back. An entre of musles and pasta and red sauce was tastless and the seafood tough. This was sent back after tasting. Another plate contained over spiced meat and was sent back. No offer of a substitute was made and when the bill came and the owner chef was approached for a bill adjustment, we were told in a rude manner that his food was perfect, he would not make an adjustment and that was that. There are a ton of restaurants in the area that care about a customers satisfaction and are not insulting when a plate fails to please. The salads were ok. It's hare to mess up iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and large slices of onions. the bread was ok, no dipping oil but a small cup of butter. The other entres were satisfactory but the ambiance is so so and the owners attitude was terrible. We six will not return.
